I was trying to find a picture where the truck's real colors stand out instead of it just looking like a dust ball, and I think this is a good shot.

The powder coat appears slightly bolder and perhaps not as "bright" as the Rapid Red, and I believe this shade of red would be the hardest to replicate. It's still amazing how well the guys at the powder shop managed to nail it.

I chose a cherry red illusion.

I used Illusion Cherry on my wheels to match my rig and it was pretty spot on.

My dad always said a winch doesn’t do much good on the front of your truck when you are stuck, he would ask are going to winch it in deeper? He said put it in back, you stand a decent chance of getting out the way you came from. But he always preached 2wd in and 4wd out, not the most fun. But we never got stuck.

That's pretty nice! 23-24 and no rear lights, though - unless you cut their logo out, I guess.

I was under the impression that you cannot really match. I’m have to investigate more. I have accepted if I need to just do the black finish - I’ll be ok. Lol. I could add silver D loops and bring it all together!

I tried starting a thread awhile back as a place for folks to post their powder coat colors they used to match their trucks. It never really gained traction.

Mine is not an exact match, but it’s damn close. I preferred it being close to match the painted front bumper rather than black.

I did this with my wife’s Bronco. Bought some paint from a site for touch up and matched her color. Looks really good. I honestly think a black bumper on your silver truck would look better than paint matched., but that’s just me. Lol

so I was thinking of buying a raw steel one and having it painted Iconic Silver

I had my Methods powder coated to match my Carbonized Gray. Now it's NOT 100% matching as I added some flake to the coatings, BUT....you would be hard pressed to REALLY see the differences. Even looking at them at arms length you would need to look at them a few times over.

I'd suggest you look over Prismatic Powders (https://www.prismaticpowders.com/shop/powder-coating-colors/PMB-1551/shredded-silver), these can be changed by your local shop to get the color more to your liking. As my shop used the same company to source the powder, then can send out sample swatches as well.

You can get this done, just got to find a quality shop to do the work.

I may have missed it, but I do not see any mention of RanchHand bumpers. Are they bad quality or something? I have had them; they were great for me.

I like RanchHand for their simple functionality, but the appearance is lacking on some of their products. They have gotten to a point of one-option products. As in the whole headlight protection bars, some I like others I don't....they only build them one way. I get it from a production line reasoning, but damn locking me out makes me look elsewhere for a like product.

How could I forget? I went through quite an ordeal with my order—it took them nine months to build it! But that's behind me now, and I absolutely love the bumpers.

Back then, CU was really small and operated out of a garage. They've since expanded and built a warehouse to fully meet the growing demand.

Hopefully they're better now if Vermont decides to go with them.

I really dig the body guard variant. But Not worth the cost due to no tire carrier for me any how. I just need the weather to cool down so I can get to cuttin and weldin!

I had no issues, thankfully, mounting my Chassis Unlimited bumpers. Only thing that took adjusting was due to the thickness of the steel compared to the stock bumper. Back up sensors just needed a little taken of the "clip" portion, trailer wiring harness, just work with/bend clips to the right spot that they would hold snug and I just bent back both sides of the bar for the spare tire lock. Lighting, I am currently using Amazon Nilights flush on the rear and just had to drill the holes for the mounting tabs. As mentioned before, license plate lighting included are just bolt lights. I mounted a set of trailer plate lights, just drilling three holes for each and then blind riveted them in place.

Since I bought my set used, I thankfully didn't have to deal with any manufacturing delays.

Overall, I'm happy with them, weld quality is good and finish is just now starting to show some issues.

Looks nice, but no corner step and looks as if top is sloped. Seems to take away using the bumper to get into truck bed.
