we can add $20 per bottle for next year and it will be paid for! Or start adding the cost this run and when the spring release comes, you would have nearly enough to purchase it for the fall release
These bottles are pricey enough that I'd rather avoid anything that makes them even more expensive. For future releases, maybe @Legmar, @Najaf4life, or @The Evil Twin (if this helps him justify the purchase) will let us use their engravers? Maybe those who want an engraved bottle can pay them to engrave it so everyone is taken care of that wants one while those who do not care / want their bottle engraved do not incur the additional expense.

I bought a 3D printer last year that I haven't used yet (had a project in mind and then pivoted away from the idea), so my wife would not be too thrilled with me adding another machine that I'll rarely use to the inventory.

Mrs, ET uses chemical etching for the glass I posted earlier. It’s ok for larger areas/ less detailed designs. But because a stencil has to be created for each item (even if it’s the same design).

I’d definitely consider it. Though the logistics of getting the bottles engraved could be difficult.

the challenge is that the bottles are not flat or perfectly round so it depends on whether or not your engraver has an autofocus lens. Logistics-wise, we'd have to know ahead of time how many people want their bottles engraved before we go to fill them so we give engraved bottles to the Blendery to fill. It could work, but would be a little bit of effort to pull it together.

That’s a good point. I can only do flat or a constant diameter (perfectly round) bottle.

It’s possible I could treat one face of the bottle as flat enough to put something on it. Not sure how well that would work though without testing.

Time to upgrade, the one I posted a few posts ago will do the job 😉

An Idea.
Tremor Flask
Holds a whole bottle, includes cups.

Edit
@modified @DTX2023Tremor what do you guys think? Tremor Logo on it?

Since this is the thread for discerning whiskey drinkers, I am going to bring something to Moab to share with all interested at an appropriate time:

I have this and their two other cigar blend releases. All of them are total bangers. This particular bottle was such a small release that it was pretty difficult to find outside of the DFW area. Ironroot Republic is my favorite Texas distillery (over Still Austin who comes in second for me).

It's here, Tremor Nation. Reserve IV is bottled, labeled, and ready for you. 🎉

Tremor Reserve IV — $149.99
13 Year 5 Month Indiana Rye · 95/5 Single Barrel · Cask Strength 107.2 Proof

This is the barrel MVI and I picked at The Whiskey Blendery back in August, and it came out every bit as good as we'd hoped. Here's how it drinks:
  • Nose — orange, apple, pear, cherry, breakfast tea, honey, vanilla, oak, leather, and caramel.
  • Palate — orange, lemon, cherry, vanilla, honey, sweet tea, Capri Sun, juice, pear, buttercream, and tangerine.
  • Finish — oak, leather, tea, vanilla, caramel, citrus, honey, butterscotch, granulated sugar, and white pepper.
Excellent balance and maturity is the short version. It drinks well below its proof, that finish goes on and on, and there's enough going on in the glass to keep you busy all evening. Thirteen-plus years in Indiana oak did exactly what we were hoping for.

⚠️ IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE ORDERING

Purchase limit: 2 bottles per person, for now.

Texas ABC law caps us at 4 bottles per person per month, but I'm setting our limit at 2 while we finalize our total allocation on this barrel. I want everyone who wants a bottle to get one before anybody doubles up. Once I know where we stand — whether we sell through and can secure more, or come in under our allocation — I'll reopen it here for second orders. Get your two in now and watch this thread.

🚨 CRITICAL: You MUST email me your order confirmation.

This step is mandatory and cannot be skipped. After you place your order on The Whiskey Blendery's site, forward your complete order confirmation email to [email protected] and include your forum username.

Please forward the whole confirmation rather than just typing the order number — it saves me a lot of back-and-forth. Any order placed without this follow-up will be cancelled by The Whiskey Blendery and hit with a 15% restocking fee. I don't want that happening to anyone, so please don't skip it.

Information I need from you (include it in that same email):
  • Complete shipping address — no USPS PO Boxes
  • Whether that address is residential or business
  • Phone number
  • Email address (UPS tracking goes here)

📦 SHIPPING & PAYMENT

The Blendery's site lists this as distillery pickup only — that just means they won't ship it directly. If you're local and want to grab yours in person, great. For everyone else, place your order and I'll pick up and ship it to you, same as always.

Once I have your confirmation, I'll calculate packing and shipping and reply with your total. As always, full transparency: I add $5 to cover program administration — that's what lets me break even on the various costs of coordinating a pick like this.

Payment options:
All orders ship UPS Ground unless you request something faster in your confirmation email.

On timing: I'm going to hold shipping until we're completely sold out. That way, if the 2-bottle limit gets lifted and you add more later, it all goes in one box and you're not paying to ship twice. Moab crew — I'm still planning to bring yours along and hand them off in person, which saves you shipping entirely. 🏜️

Huge thanks to @MVI for being in the room on this pick, and to everyone who followed along, weighed in on the label, and helped shape this release. This one's been a blast to put together.

Questions? Drop them below. Enjoy it slow. 🍻
