- 2022 F350 Lariat Tremor Ultimate 6.7 Carb Gray
Added a set of Timbrens to the rear of truck. I went with the ones spec'd for the F250 based on measurements on my truck. Yes, the Tremor has the 350 rear suspension but based on the nominal dimensions I thought they would sit too close to the axle pad and engage too soon. Glad I went this route. I have ~1.25" of clearance unloaded, and they reduced the sag when the trailer is hooked up (1k-ish tongue) by 3/4". My hitch can adjust height in 1" increments so this puts me in between settings (I thought the nose of the TT was a hair too low). Took it out for a test drive and it doesn't feel dramatically different. Any change in the road surface is damped somewhat, though. RR crossings, expansion joints, etc. Overall feels a bit more planted. Small tweak overall but a step in the right direction:

I added a set of Timbren FR350SDJ to my 22 F350 a few weeks ago. After install, I have the Timbren recommended 1/2" space between the Timbrens and the bump stop with truck unloaded, except for a 5th wheel hitch in the bed (approx 225#). Loaded with the trailer, I noticed considerably better ride and stability. Sag has improved too. As measured by the distance from ground to the wheel well opening, unloaded 45 1/2" to loaded 43 1/2". Without the Timbrens I was experiencing approximately 3" - 3 1/2" of sag. What I like about these over airbags is no airline install, maintenance or frequent air adjustments, and 10-20 mins to install. Have only pulled rig about 40 miles so far with the Timbrens and happy with performance so far.
Edit: forgot to add a few items. FR350SDJ are 8600# capacity, Trailer specs: 5th Wheel, 12,700# unloaded, pin approx 2600#.
