Tremors and Campers let's talk camping!!

I spot another Tremor! Are they members on here, perhaps??
Yup, that's our friends we'll be with over the next few months. Nick (@Nfrerman ) is on here, but doesn't post much.

Made it home from a 2 week trip to the upper Midwest (Michigan and Wisconsin) and I now get the lake life. It's wonderful up there for the 2 months of summer but I know I couldn't handle the winters there. Truck preformed wonderfully as always but ran into a major issue on the way home with an exploded wheel bearing on the PA turnpike. Thankfully there was a local truck repair shop open on the weekend who was able to make the repair and had the parts in stock. This is what I get for taking the camper to a RV Shop for the wheel bearings instead of doing them myself. The other 3 were also very lose and likely need to be replaced as well now too.

Very hard to beat a lake in Michigan or Wisconsin. If you can, check out torch lake in Michigan.

Rented a boat there and spent the day on the sandbar. The closest thing to Crab Island in Destin I've ever seen. TC was our last stop on the way home and loved the area.

Wrapping up a two month trip to the Pacific NW (and a cruise out of Seattle to Alaska). Pic is from our campsite in Kalispell, MT. Tight fit but it was actually a great place to stay.

We were supposed to head over to Colorado National Monument but forecasted 100 degree temps changed our plans.

We took a quick trip Sun Outdoors in Granby. I’d much prefer something more remote and shaded but for a short notice trip this will suffice.

Place has a pond for paddle boards, a pool and I think even a bowling alley.

And the 7.3 did just fine towing a 7k camper over a 11k pass!

We've made it through Minnesota and into North Dakota. Next week we'll be moving on to Minot for the ACI Rally. In the meantime we've been hanging out with some other friends we've met up with along the way, seen the ND Capitol (the tallest habitable building in the state) and just had fun exploring.

Up in Idaho. Pretty smokey this summer from all the fires, but still a good time. Trailer weight is about 7500 and 1500 of bikes, campfires, propane and generators in the bed. I was impressed towing all around the mountains. Only complaint is the range on the tank. I was only getting around 260 miles on the stock tank (TF is too expensive to upgrade, I know). cheers!

We finally got the trailer out for the first time since last year. It was mostly a quick test run to make sure everything was still working and to spend some time at the beach with the kids.

We also got to check out an area we’ve been wanting to visit for a while. We headed down to Crystal Beach and stayed at Camp Margaritaville this past weekend. Other than the sites being a little tight, it was a nice RV park with a great music venue.

The weather was surprisingly nice. We watched storms build all around us but never saw any rain. It was a good trip, and now we’re ready for cooler weather, campfires, and a few more adventures this fall!

We're in Rapid City, SD for the week and I decided to play with a new photo tool/toy. I'll have to keep messing with it and hopefully snag some cool landscape shots with it, or something else creative-ish.

If anyone is going to be in Hershey next week for the RV show, stop by the Airstream booth and say hi. I'll be there working the Airstream Club Table.

We’ll be in Hill City in two weeks. Loading up the trailer and going to work from the camp site for the week.

The joys of being a remote worker!

I get it ... we've been at it for the last 4.5 years! :ROFLMAO:
