I bought a hitch mount bike rack that installs on the back of my 5th wheel. Love it.

Well I have a rack in then back for my sons stuff and these electric bikes weight a lot to be in the back of the camper without replacing the numbing and doing a lot to reinforce everything.

Is it just the pic or is your hitch really far forward ? It’s supposed to be over axles and your doesn’t look to be.

It is in the normal place, hitch is installed using the puck system. The weight is supposed be slightly forward of the axle which is where the weight is located unless you slide it back.

I’m glad to see someone else’s 21G sagging the Tremor a bit. When I get the Tremor level with the WD hitch, there is too much weight on the front wheels. Almost like I need an in between on the WD hitch. I just roll with it sagging some and it pulls like a dream.

First real test towing, ended up filling the tank at home to try and save time. We didn't leave until about 1pm yesterday and had a shitty 20mph crosswind. Didn't feel
comfortable going over 65-70. Averaged 10.1mpg according to the truck computer. People everywhere... it's been a couple years since I went to Moab and oh my.... ended up staying the night right off 70 and 191 at the first pull off. Woke up to an overnight soaking and 2-3" of peanut butter mud. Decided to drive into town around 10 to run some errands. Found a sweet pay spot on the river by chance so went back to the trailer, locked the hubs and dragged it out.... right after the dude finished grading the road. Kinda felt bad but this place is a shit show. Didn't bother to reconnect sway bars and did 65-70mph into town and it handled great. I think air bags would get rid of a little porpoising but not completely necessary. I wish I could open the tailgate with the trailer connected but it hits the power Jack.

Got to the river spot and waiting on better weather tomorrow

Oh dang!! We must have gotten lucky with our week there. There were people but it wasn’t nuts. I read on the Sand Flats FB page that they were filling up every day the day we got home.

My WD bars are barely engaged but do help with the porpoising and make noise when I turn….. The jack deal drives me nuts too but I try to keep all of the blocks and levelers right where I can reach them with the tailgate propped open with the jack. Hopefully the week gets better. We are trying to head back out there again in May to get one last trip before it gets to summer temps.

Yes, It’s a bit of a pain but if you take your time it comes out real clean. Our other fifth wheel was a 2016 and we removed a sticker that was cracking and they discolored really bad.

Finally picked up our TT (Transcend 265BH) from storage for a quick weekend get away. Please ignore the terrible angle on the camper, I adjusted the WDH hitch right after this but forgot to take another picture.

Was previously towing with a 3.5EB F-150, let me tell you the difference is life changing. I was slightly under weight on the F-150, but it was never a comfortable ride, 32ft is just to much for a 1/2 ton to handle IMO.

Nice rig! We have a 2020 265bh. One of the best layouts out there IMO. Like you, switched from a f150 3.5eb. Night and Day is right! I haven’t been able to get a good picture of the entire rig yet. Happy Camping

Love the Idaho weather 3 out of 4 seasons displayed between Friday and Saturday. Friday had a high of about 74º, Saturday a high of about 60º, and Sunday woke up to snow. Ended up getting 3-6 inches depending upon location at somewhat low elevation. Good way to break in the new RV.

My exact thoughts. The F150 did fine on the flat but where I like to go out west here it's either up or down. On the ups now I have to check my 6 to make sure the trailer is still attached and on the downs I don't get the feeling any more that I might not be the one in control. Never had any scary events (other than over-heating on big grades) with the F150 but there were times that Mr Scary seemed to be drafting me.

This is why I use the Weigh Safe Weight Distribution hitch - it moves the ball back about 1' allowing you to open the tailgate. One of the many nice features to their system.
