Tremors and Campers let's talk camping!!

2016 Forest River Rockwood 232ESP.
Outfitted with two 6V deep cycle golf cart batteries and solar panels. We can normally get 3-4 days of off grid camping in before running out of supplies/power. Always trying to improve the setup to stay out longer.
Second picture is with my old truck. Shows the toy hauler setup. It’ll fit 3 dirt bikes, a cooler and some fire wood no problem.
Yes, the Tremor is overkill for this camper but I got it for towing other stuff. The big toy haulers are really nice and comfortable but we enjoy getting as far into the woods as possible and this setup is perfect for that. Single axle, light weight (~3500lbs GVW), 2” lift, not super long, has indoor and outdoor showers and a vault toilet (if needed).
We mainly camp in the Midwest but hoping to do a big Colorado, Utah, Arizona trip next spring.

First trip out. There’s a nice county park campground on the lake about 15 minutes from my house. Great for the first trip out in the new camper. This one is about 10 times nicer and more complex, so it taking a minute to learn all the systems. No towing report, it’s only 7.5 miles from home.

Nice looking rig you have there! We stay at a campground about 30 minutes from home about 1/2 the time. Great option for those first shakedown trips!

Awesome! What hitch did you decide on? are you happy with setup?

I went with the B&W Companion slider hitch. So far I like it but am glad for the slider as it will be needed for some areas it will go this year. The trailer tows nicely even with really gusty winds going through South Dakota and Wyoming.
