Off for a 2.5 week, 3000-4000 mile trip! Came to Dallas first to watch the big 12 championship game tomorrow. Then to Phoenix to see family, then about 7-8 days of deep off grid dispersed camping in AZ and NM! Love this setup, amazing for tight roads.

Picked up a DJI drone and a bunch of cool toys before the trip. Read for some good pictures once we get off road.

Here's our new camper that the our truck was bought for. Canadian made in Kelowna BC, Northern Lite 9-6 LE, four season camper with all the amenities. Other than the fuel economy, I can't even tell I'm hauling it most of the time!

Yes I did, but it was not from abuse or a bad design. I had the truck regeared and they did not Locktite the cross shaft retaining bolt in the front diff. It fell out, the cross shaft slipped out and carnage happened, including locking up, and pushing the cover out, draining the oil. I drove it about 40 miles that way to the shop, after coaxing it to actually roll. That is one of the reasons i want the tremor front axle. It has hubs. Another is that it's a Torsen differential. Excellent.

Let's see your rigs, talk camping and share favorite campgrounds. Here's my current setup. Its a 25 FBT Airstream. It has 900lbs tounge weight and weighs around 7300lb fully loaded. The wife and I love to camp at corps of engineers campgrounds, our favorite is Indian creek on Mark Twain lake in Monroe city, MO. Camping so far with all the new influx of campers hasn't been bad so far.

Sorry, but all indications are that it does not have a Torsen differential. The owners manual specifying a friction additive seems to confirm.
