Same for me with State Farm (California). They added the camper to the truck policy.

We have our 7.3L Tremor and 4 wheel camper insurance with State Farm in Texas.
The 4 wheel camper coverage is included with the auto policy on the F-250, no separate policy.

The current policy does not detail the additional charge but I think that when we first added the 4 wheel camper it was an additional $ 45 for 6 months of coverage.

Amendatory Endorsement:
D50 (Comprehensive Coverage, $ 50 deductible)
G500 (Collision Coverage, $ 500 deductible)
coverage extends to 2018 4 wheel camper serial xxxxx

It might be the case that the coverage is only in effect if the camper is on the truck.

Thanks for the info Downhill. I may have an issue because I am getting the flatbed model and changing the truck?

When we got our travel trailer in June I called our State Farm agent and was very pleasantly shocked at how reasonable the rate was! SHOCKED I TELL YOU!

I hope I'm shocked in the same way when I call him to give my Tremor's VIN! I suspect it will not be a pleasant shock.

I don’t want to speak for anyone else, but on my truck the satellite radio cuts in and out on the free trial. Sirius wont get my money anyways when the trials up.

yea i use the att wifi ... so interesting if this works as well.. i don't think they do

I've had Sirius for years and love it. It works best out in the boonies. Very cool driving around 100 miles from nowhere in Wyoming listening to BBC or whatever. In town there are so many things that interfere with it. Certain intersections especially. Big Brother monitoring us, no doubt.

Just got my camper. Its dry weight is 1700lbs(hawk flatbed model). I noticed driving low speeds over uneven terrain I am getting tossed quite a bit with some side to side motion. Is this normal? Any input on if I may need any additional suspension bits? When not in motion nothing is touching the helper springs. Thanks!

You might want to post a photo of your rig and more details. I pull a 5600# Oliver tandem axle with zero issues. Tows perfectly.

The flatbed is just more weight overall when you factor in that camper is heavier, tray adds weight, and you can fit a lot more stuff in that beast! My slide-in @1600lbs dry weight is right at the top of the payload for the F250 gas Tremor after loading it up for a family of 4 so for the flatbed I would go with airbags to help with side to side sway.

I'm considering the aluminess bumper and storage boxes to take tools and cargo out of the cabin but putting more weight in the back will probably prompt me to get airbags too.

What kind of lift jack are you all carrying if you need to change a tire on the trail? I am a bit hesitant to bring out the high lift jack on this big truck. But it seems like the only option. Curious if anyone else is using something else.
