Maybe dogs aren’t given shorter lives because they have less to experience, but because they’ve already mastered the thing humans spend a lifetime trying to learn.

How's your pup's recovery going??

She’s healing nicely. Honestly too well. I have to keep her from running/jumping/pivoting hard/basically anything that a 2 year old dog wants to be doing for another 6 weeks. It’s been and is going to remain a challenge.

But kidding aside she has great mobility in the better of the two knees, and is putting weight on the other leg and is usually using it when she walks. And you can see, she is still sitting with a hip to the side instead of a regular dog squat. Hopefully that all heals and she gets back to normal in a few weeks.

My boy is spending the week at our daughter’s place. The wife is traveling for work and I’m working 12 hour days. I think he is ok with it.
