Tremor Dogs! Let’s See Um!

When I first got my pup I did the raised hand test and she wet herself. Im very cautious about my movement around her. She was also very timid when picked up as I suspect she was picked up to be shoved in a cage. I tried crate training and it did not go well so her crate is now her toy box and she has just started to stick her head in it to grab a ball. I pick her up on occasion,rub her belly and then put her back down in the same spot. Trying to love that fear out of her....
 
Good approach. I learned with my golden that when I reached to pet his head he would wince so once I reached down I would leave my hand on him while petting so he didn't have to worry I was going to slap him. Luckily my two dogs now have no such fears...almost to our detriment! LOL. They know they rule the house.

I occasionally call Kimber dog Roo or Kimberoo because she reminds of a certain creature from “down under.” I think this picture proves it. What do you think @Pompey ?

I’m sure she’s smarter than any roo I’ve come across. Are you sure she hasn’t any dingo in her? 😜

Bucc and Kiah. Bucc is 6 and rescued 5 years ago from a shelter. Kiah was a shelter dog that was going to be returned and destroyed but our boarder called us about her when she heard the story and a drop off had declined to pick her up! Estimated 4 yo and we have had her for 3.

He was a wonderful chill dog until she came and made him break rules lol. We can’t tell if she is blind or dumb but she is a gentle sweetie.

No, she wasn't 🤦🤣🤣🤣
She was just very chill, unless I wanted her to not be. She would get between me and any other strange person or dog all the time. She also got ahold of a possum one night in our back yard because I told her to "get-um" just joking with her not knowing there actually was something. I thought it was a cat and hollered at her to let it go and she just stopped and came right back. 😎

No dingo. We did a doggy DNA test (yes they have such a thing, and yes my wife ordered one), and it came back almost 50% Russel terrier, 25% miniature pinscher, and the last quarter made up of mostly Chihuahua with some Pomeranian and Pekingese thrown in for good measure. My definition of a good old mutt. And you’re right, smart. Too smart.
 
Decided to update my profile picture today. There’s a new dynamic in our world with little Tater growing up. If you haven’t figured it out yet, my dogs are kind of my identity. 😁 This is how I start my day every morning on the front porch.
