Long time lurker, have looked through almost every post that mentions these 2 tires, but haven’t seen any head to head between the 2.

I’m convinced that one of these 2 tires is the one that I’ll go with, but I’m having a hard time deciding.

Considerations:
-Live in southeast VA, so very little snow
-going with stock tire size
-tows Jeep 8-12 times a year to various places on the east coast
-trip upcoming in Feb across country with a 2 Jeeps loaded up on a gooseneck

The Coopers boast a 60k warranty, Falkens with a 55k but many report that they wear excellent. I like the appearance of both tires, and users almost unanimously claim an increase in ride comfort and road noise compared to the Duratracs.

Welcome @TL20 !

@BigBoyToyz went with the Coopers and can comment on his experience thus far...

I’m very interested to hear feedback on this thread. I’ve been leaning towards the Falken’s as I’ve heard many great things and positive reviews. I use to run the Cooper AT3’s on my oilfield work pick up and they were great too, I definitely put them to the test often. Minimal road noise and great traction in bad weather, mud, washboard/dirt roads.

I’m currently running the Falkens. I’ve had the Coopers on previous vehicles, but not on a Super Duty. If I had to decide between them again today, as much as I loved the Cooper tires, I’d probably buy the Falkens. They seem to be a touch quieter and a bit softer of compound and therefore a softer feel than the Duratracs for sure. I only have a few thousand miles on the new set, so I can’t comment on wear or longevity.

I'm currently running Falkens at3w on stock rims 37x12.5r18 and they are smoother then the factory duracraps. Here's to hoping I get more than 28k our of this set. I'm am 100% happy with the decision of wildpeaks.

I think you'll be happy with either tire. The Falkens might be slightly better off-road. I had Cooper AT3s on my old RAM 2500 and had no complaints. They saw lots of towing & highway miles. Some mild off-road (mountain/fire roads).

I pondered the same thing when the time came to remove the Duratracs. End up going with the Falkens at my buddy’s recommendation. I liked how they rode in his truck and now that I have them on my mine, like them as well. They handle great and surprisingly don’t have a lot of road noise... and they look really good with the Tremor wheels. Just my 2 cents!

I am running the Falkens on my SD and have had them for 11k miles, still look new. They are wearing great, low road noise, great dry, wet and snow traction. I rotate every 5k miles and run 55psi up front with the diesel and 40 on the back with no towing, 50/50 mix of city/highway. I am running a little wider than stock with 295 width.

Out of these two tires, do you think that one is superior for towing?

Also, any new feedback on the Falkens vs Coopers? Planning on a trip, and although my oem tires are ok, they're at 36K. So I am thinking of getting new tires for the trip with new tread.

Any other recs that are good for road and towing?

Have had the Coopers on several of our trucks, Excursion and F150s. Wife has the Duratracs (second set already) on her 21 250 Tremor. I put the Falkens on my 20 350 Tremor. She loves hers. I won’t do Duratracs again, hated them. Felt wobbly. Could have been size related. They always looked skinny. The Coopers got eaten up pretty quick on our combo rock/oil sand/chip seal roads out here. Love my Falkens. Stock size on factory wheels. Less road noise, they handle far better than the Duratracs, and I’m about 15k into them and they still look new. The Falkens were the priciest of the bunch when I got them, but that seems worth it now. If we’re voting, LOL, I vote for the Falkens.

I am needing to replace the GY‘s on our 21 Tremor, thinking about going with the Falkens in the 295/70/18 size. Anyone have photos of these on the stock Tremor wheels?

Thanks, they're looking to be comparable in price at DT. Was leaning Falken because I read that they're goodish on road noise. I'd trade wear life for great towing and less road noise. But above all it's got to look good on the blue beast.

Have the exact same tires and size, they are awesome.

My apologies, as it’s likely I’ve violated some kind of picture size/format etiquette. Hope those help!

These are 37x12.5r18 everyday driving and being aware in parking lots I do not rub. With that being said it definitely does rub I'm just very cognizant of how far I turn. I am going to be adding 3/8" bora wheel spacers to give me some more space and stance.
