What a great story. You did good bringing this beauty into your home. Those of you who follow this thread (and give a flying fornication, and have a decent memory) know that I lost my dear Cricket near the end of May this year. My wife and I were devastated and felt for a time that we couldn’t handle that heartbreak again.
As each day passed after a period of mourning, we both started to feel like the house was too quiet and we really missed the extra life form if you will, in the house along with us. So recently we started talking about getting another dog, and both of us started looking online at the adoption sites.
We adopted Cricket from a shelter, and we both thought that mixed breed mutts make for incredible dogs. A few days ago my wife saw a post for a puppy up for adoption at a Humane Society a few counties north of us. I guess some inconsiderate individual dumped her near a golf course and thankfully another person found her and bought her in.
She is absolutely adorable, but she’s full of energy, spunk, attitude, and bravado. Right away we both decided that she was a real “pistol.” So her name came obvious to us at that point.
Tremor family, I’d like to introduce you to the newest member….here’s Kimber.

As they're lacking opposable thumbs, have 3 major functions - chauffeuring to the local dog park, picking up after them, and letting them in and out of the house - The big black and white fellow is 120lbs, the others are 100 lbs eachWell hold on now; do some of them have licenses and what's their monthly insurance rate? Where exactly do you sit!? I have more questions but let's start there.![]()
Looks like he found himself a good stick!Didn't realize I was filming vertically, but been out snowshoeing with the dog. Had to upload to YT, as it's too large for here.
Good struggle at the end!!
I thought this was a thread on dogs…..not kittens….but I enjoyed it nonetheless!!!

Having 4 furry gremlins myself I couldn’t imagine the work of keeping up with the fur that 4 huskies leave behindThese are our four Dude, Ezra, Bear and Lolo aka Loretta being bribed, doggie treats,to be on their best behavior for Christmas View attachment 184085
I had two Malamutes and recall the mountains of fur I would brush off of them when they would blow their undercoat. Constant fur all year round, too, but they were great dogs and totally worth it!Having 4 furry gremlins myself I couldn’t imagine the work of keeping up with the fur that 4 huskies leave behind![]()
