We had to put our 13 yo Wimeriermer down about a year ago, liver tumor. This was the replacement voted on by the family, for the record my suggestion was a ridgeback This is Marshall our 5 month old French Bulldog. I forgot how much "fun" puppies were.

I had to put down my 13 year old Weimaraner January 4th. 5 months later I adopted a "Weimaraner mix" from the SPCA. I'm not seeing any Weim traits in him. He looks like a Great Dane mix. He turned 1 in May, just before I got him. I'm guessing that he's more of a Great Dane/Lab mix. He was 75 lbs when I got him 2 months ago and I'm guessing that hes over 80 lbs now and still growing.

Belle, my Tremor dog just passed away on Aug. 5th, heart failure. She was 17 but still pretty spry. She was a small Pomeranian with a big attitude. She loved to hike with my wife and me. We'll miss her dearly. Go walk and play with your dog.

Sorry to hear about that @Canyon Trekker . 17 is a good long life, although it's never long enough... They definitely carve out a place in our hearts don't they?

Thank you very much. I have read that; it's hanging on our hall wall from when our first Pom passed away many years ago. And yes, it's a touching poem. Thanks.
