Transmission Fluid Change

The issue is when you live in the elements.

I am not mall crawling.

The only real solution for me is to simply add under armor and call it a day since I am exposed to this, like it or not.

Agree 100% your use case calls for full skid plates. My point is you are in hot water either way if the few extra inches on the pan is what makes or breaks it (y)

Wish someone would make the stock size pan in aluminum or steel with a drain plug and standpipe. Some of us just want to do drain and fills without dropping the damn pan. Who can we harass to get the ball rolling? PPE doesn't seem interested based on my conversations with our local off-road shop. They also have still not fixed the fill plug height on their Sterling diff covers so not a lot of confidence there anyway.

Where is our Tremor Forum R&D Team at?

I do 30,000 every time cheap insurance Fords 100,000 is BS but I also tow alot anywhere from 5-16,000 lbs most of my ownership of my trucks and towing miles versus non is more to the towing side probably 75% of my miles atleast I have something back there.

My new PPE gasser 10R140 pan just hit the porch. Haven't even opened the box yet.

I couldn't wait for the pan I really wanted, an upcoming application from PML. I don't know if the PML pan would have a standpipe, and that is a fill-to-correct-level feature I really like.

I don't want to have to wear welding gloves just to get all cozy w/ hot exhaust catalysts in order to use a miniature dipstick on some plastic plug on the side of the transmission case.

Flag on the play!

This is a "Super Duty Diesel" 10R140 Deep Pan (still haven't opened the box, in case I may exchange it for the "gasser" semi-deep pan mentioned a few posts back).

I may have ordered this thinking it was the only option for the 10R140 in the 2025 7.3 Gawdziller Tremor.

This is the pan I ordered and just now received via FedEx

I just finished a phone call w/ a tech at PPE who sent me the beginning of any return/exchange paperwork via email.

This is the pan I want and need (to fit my exhaust)

I don't believe that's gonna fit the 'Zilla

Yeah, we're gonna do a swap. Not even gonna open this box.

Thanks, amigo! Cheers.
You are required to post photos of the install process 😉
I have read that there is a plug somewhere on the trans that can be used as a fill port. Much higher than the lever should be, but would male it easy to fill while watching the stand pipe for drippage

Yeah, open either link from my prior post - scroll down to Downloads for the Installation instructions - there are some pretty clear color photos to look at.

@Apples did you confirm which transmission you have first? I noticed they have a note on their website regarding different ones for 2025's.

I did, and 7 ways to Sunday.

Dug around online after seeing some misinformation spewed by a popular YouTuber, and after a trip to the dealer to look at a long line of '25 Super Duty trucks was able to confirm the 7.3 Godzilla is indeed fitted with the 10R100 in all Super Duties EXCEPT those equipped with the TREMOR Package.

Then there is this, from the 2025 Build and Price Ford website:

TREMOR® Off-Road Package

Available on XLT, Lariat®, King Ranch® and Platinum®.

• Water Fording Vent Tubes – Transfer Case and Axle
• Rock Crawl Mode
• Trail Control Mode
• TREMOR® Off-Road Decal
• Spare – Conventional Road Wheel
• LT285/75R 18E BSW Spare Tire

[the lines for the 6.7H.O. and for the 3.55 axles are lined out as they did not pertain to my rig - this was copied from another site and I don't know how to unformat it here]

Final corroboration is the window sticker on my rig: "10-SPEED AUTO TORQSHIFT". All other '25 SuperDuties that did not have a Tremor Package on the lot that had the 7.3 gas were built with "10-SPEED AUTO TORQSHIFT-G" (the dash-G denotes the 10R100).

I really wonder why we "ford" is introducing another 10spd variant when the 10r140 works fine in the 7.3 and the 10r80 works great in everything else; especially when the Tremor gets the 140 and everything else gets the 100 as you pointed out... Just pick one or the other. Isn't the 10r100 the one that is in the GM trucks, I think they call them the 10r100 as well and those variants are having a lot of issues. Wonder if GM said fk it we want out here you can have the surplus. IDK speculation.

Not true, guys. My ‘25 F-350 non-Tremor has the 10R140. It was only available in certain configurations on the F-350s but it was absolutely available in non-Tremor trucks.
