When I ordered my Tremor I was pretty sure I was going to get a Retrax Pro XR but did a lot of research and could not get past the fact that the Retrax allowed water in the bed and the roll box took up so much space. I was able to check out the Pro XR and several other models 'hands on' and was not impressed. I switched gears and checked out DiamondBack covers and never looked back.

Absolutely LOVE the DiamondBack!

I have the Ford Roll-up. Similar to the backflip X2. I had the backflip on my Raptor and I think the Ford one is actually better in a lot of ways than the bakflip.

Interested in this as well. Let us know how it goes over the next while. I have no interest in folding, retractable, or hard top cover. Something that is durable and rolls out of the way without messing up my rear view is perfect for me.

So far so good. It’s only been a few weeks but I am 100% satisfied. I was in very heavy rain a couple days after install. Very minimal water got inside and at the expected places- corners. I’d estimate 90% of the bed floor was dry. Corners were damp but not soaking wet. And that could have come up from the gaps between the sides of the bed and the bed floor and the gaps around the tailgate. Need a camera back there while driving to know for sure. Snow is coming so I’ll get to see how it holds up to a foot or more of lake effect in the coming weeks. As soon as the sun hit, all wrinkles and waves disappeared. I love the look. Very clean look being low profile and matte finish. I’ll post more updates as my experiences continue.

I debated which cover to get for almost the entire 6 months that I waited for my truck.
I ended up going with the Retrax Pro XR and couldn’t be happier so far. It’s only been 2 weeks but it seems perfect for me in that I can fill up the bed and still have room for surfboards, snowboards, bikes, or even a cargo box for those longer family trips where we seem to pack half the house.

Installed my new RetraxPro MX this morning. A little over an hour to assemble and install. Very little adjustment needed. Fit and finish is really nice. I drilled holes in the 2 oval front bed plugs for the drain tubes but I suspect they will interfere with long lumber, etc. that I will carry so will look to poke the drains elsewhere a bit higher………maybe the stake pockets. Due to the height of the Tremor bed there is one thing I confirmed………it’s gonna be a whole lot easier “sliding” this cover open & closed vs flipping the folding covers I’ve had on previous trucks

I can verify that. I have the OEM soft folding now but will do something different long term. @Nick@ApolloOptics has given me some good ideas to consider...
