The Shenks and Bomberger's series from Michter's can be a bit hit and miss, some years are better than others. MSRP is $120, but this regularly sells for much more so seeing it at Costco for $141 after tax is likely a really good price for the bottle. Early reviews on this year's release all seem to be pretty good.

From a review site, "This year's Bomberger's again brings delight with the whiskey's hallmark Chinquapin Oak coupled with the addition of some Hungarian Oak thereby creating an intriguing, rich chocolate decadence around the cherry and spice attributes synonymous with Chinquapin."

Thanks Mike. They are $114.99 before taxes, so not too bad. Didn't grab one while I was up there, not sure if it is worth the hour round trip to go back. Will see what they have next visit.

Just walked into one of my local shops where I get Eagle Rare for $45 and this was on the shelf for $195. Usually $240+ around here if you can even find it so had to grab it at that price.

That's awesome! That bottle MSRPs for $210. Keep that honey hole a secret!

It is a hole for sure. But I also grabbed a Michter's 10 bourbon last year there at the same price. And I got 3 bottles of 1792 Sweet Wheat at $39 each. It was hard to keep straight face when he rang that one up.
