Sedona's weekend run provided an incredible experience for the group, with slightly warm yet enjoyable weather that led to cool, clear evenings and stunning sunset views over the iconic Red Cliffs.

The dry weekend, free of storms, left trucks coated in Sedona's iconic red dust, a hallmark of the majestic vortex often regarded as one of the region's treasures. However, the weather shifted dramatically last week and into the weekend, bringing daily thunderstorms and occasional small hailstorms actively in the area I as type this post.

Friends of ours who were hunting in the Coconino National Forest that weekend, for their elk tag faced significant challenges due to persistent rain, which turned the terrain incredibly muddy and damp. Despite this, they successfully tagged out last night just before dusk.

They sent me some pictures, and it really transforms the lush green vegetation we all saw on Saturday into a dark, dense green house habitat.
