Other Rides

I'm a late comer to this. My father was a big Ford guy. We always had old (even then) Fords growing up. A lot of them are still around, stored in various garages in Washington state. I just visited my childhood home on White Pass for the first time in 8 years this past July to see my stepmother. Was good to see this group was slumbering well. The Edsel hasn't been touched in 7 years now. Dust it off and it would have been ready for Hot August Nights. If the Treadle Vac is working. And the teletouch. And everything else on it. It's amazing how much more modern the Thunderbird is in comparison.

Sweet.
Wow, I love that both look totally original. 👍👍
Oh they are. I cannot abide non original in my own stuff. I want to see things the way they were from the factory. Not that I don't understand doing modern stuff in old cars, I just want it to be the way it was.

At this moment and could change any day at my rate of vehicle buying.

2024 Ford F350 Platinum Tremor Glacier Grey 6.7HO
2023 Raptor R Black
2021 Ram TRX Granite Crystal Metallic
2021 Wrangler 392 White
2006 Jaguar XKR Coupe Silver

Pipe Dream do to allocation is Mustang GTD... The one mustang i would like...

This one finally came in. I posted somewhere on this site about “winning” a lottery for this bike and getting the opportunity to buy it. The jacket was part of the package. Royal Enfield only made 100 of these for the world, and only 7 landed in the United States. Not a bad bike for a 650.

Looks great @McE ! Looks like it’s sitting pretty level. Did you do anything to bring the back down?
Thanks man! Not yet, just the angle of the picture. Going to pull a leaf and if that doesn’t get it there I’ll probably do a small drop shackle.

Definitely a clean start for a work in progress. Most of the 5th gens are rusted out hulks now. Very sweet ride.
Very minor surface rust on the frame but that’s it. I’ll be addressing that soon.

Just picked up a '92 Bronco in Idaho to fix up with my boys. Started by doing a quick cut on the paint to remove the heavy oxidation. Needs a polish and some wax. Eventually a full respray. Plan is to put 4.56s or 4.88s in it with Eaton Elockers front/rear and 6" lift with 35s or maybe 37s. Tempted to swap in a 7.3 when the 351w gets tired

Even the wife is in love with it already.

Since broncos have been a hot topic lately I'll share this blast from the past:

New property came with a
92 gmc sierra 1500 and a 97 Chevy 3500 dually

I think I’m gonna sell the dually but the 1500 might be a next project… it’s 2wd but from looking at pics online I think it would look BA with a 6” lift and 35” super swampers with brushed steel wheels

Grabbed a few pics of my recent pick up.. 1997 GTS Viper with 3k original miles 🚗 This is the 3rd Viper I’ve owned, absolutely love these Gen 2’s! It’s so hard to find these cars that haven’t been tracked/abused or smashed up.. This one still had the original tires 😂 I’ve always regretted getting rid of the others, this one will stay.

Love it brother, congrats! At least this year/model has air conditioning. And to see Viper red is nice; you always see blue with white stripes. Enjoy it!

Thanks bud! AC is always welcomed 😂 Still a very analog car, no antilock brakes, traction control, 6 speed manual.. Love it!

My first Viper was a ‘96 blue and white.. Next one I get will be a blue and white Gen V 👍🏼
