Sorry, I am little slow. I just put in an order for the AllGuard kit with enhanced fastener option checked. Would this include the new screws?

The enhanced fastener option is for the LightGuard fasteners (the ones that hold the cover piece on the base bracket). I offer two types: regular and enhanced.
Both are not torx and the bits wont be found at stores. The enhanced just has a special keyed bit that is unique to the fastener. Only I can have the key made and they are only made in the quantity equal to the MOQ (min order quantity). Once depleted, new key is made.

I stepped out on a limb with the enhanced fasteners. I wasnt sure if people would pay more for them or not. Theyve been a pretty good hit which is why the LightGuard Lite (replacement fasteners) only come in a specially keyed bit.

I dont offer the CoverGuard in this type of fastener b/c its a decent amount keeping track who got what.

I'm going to use this same approach when I start selling my Baja Designs security fasteners. Maybe it'll give me an edge when I start selling their lights. Oh, I recently became an authorized retailer for Baja Designs.

Do you have an ETA for the changes? I was about to order the whole kit you currently offer for my 2026 SD that is coming around June. But if you have a new kit or versions or even parts coming, I can wait.

If you have a 23+ truck and want some protection from tailgate theft but dont want to put a hose clamp around the hinge of your $80k+ truck... WE GET YA!

HingeGuard replaces the factory bolt with a proprietary driven fastener to provide the protection you are looking for without the hassle of install or poor aesthetics of other protection devices.

Simply remove the old and install the new

NOTE: Seeing how most folks will likely buy this WITH something else, I did not bake shipping into the product cost (its challenging already to optimize between pricing it reasonably and making it worth my time). If bought by itself, standard shipping charges will apply.

I am not in the business of selling run-of-the-mill security fasteners you can buy off McMaster or Amazon.

I made a mistake assuming these were completely proprietary. Suffice it to say I was able to compromise the fasteners with a bit set I found on Amazon.

For this reason, I'm moving this product to be a uniquely keyed bit, similar to the other enhanced fasteners I offer. This change will add some time to my product availability. I'll advise once they are available.

For everyone that ordered (thank you!), you will be getting a set of the proprietary bit and fastener shipped to you as soon as they are available.

That hole isnt present on the 23+ trucks. You wont need it assuming your profile is correct (2026 F350 Platty HO)

For anyone with a 17-22, i can include it. Just ask and make sure to install the WHOLE thing under the tailgate cover panel
