I just launched my website OmahaBravo Designs.

I started out designing a bracket to protect against thieves opening tailgates after reading some complaints about the existing product. Heck, some even removed the protection device due to rusting (hence why i went with aluminum). With the focus on security, I quickly found the taillight, itself, was a great target for theft (and continues to be).

If its worth doing, its worth doing right. Therefore, I spent the time designing all of my brackets to perform their respective function without requiring any permanent modification to install.

If you're going to Big Bend you'll get to see them in person. I'm sending one of each to Lunchbox for the giveaway. I appreciate this forum and the knowledge being shared on here.

Thank you,
OmahaBravo

Nice to see your new website. Look forward to helping you promote your new designs.

Bravo, Omaha! I just purchased the hood guard. When you launched this I immediately latched onto it 🤪.

Thank you, sir. I tried to @ you but couldnt figure out what that first emoji in your name is.

I'll dm you in the next week or so to get an address to send the giveaway brackets.

That would be a T-bone. Go into your emojis and type in steak. It'll pop up. See video.

This is all really good stuff! even more reason to anticipate the Big Bend trip! I've already got my mind made up that I'll be driving 70 miles out of the way all in an effort to stay as far away from San Antonio as possible on my trek west from Florida!

One point of consideration for the front end protection, perhaps to expand the products you might offer in the future. It was my experience that the bad guys didn't even need to pop the hood...they just removed the front ford emblem and cut the horn wires thru the hole. Perhaps you could come up with some sort of backer plate to restrict horn access this way as well?? Just food for thought!

I tried. Doesnt yield the same result. Maybe the mobile version has a different emoji?

I started making HornGuard but the wiring alone took too long. I actually made a few kits but dont plan on marketing them b/c i'm not going to make anymore. What I need to get to make it worth my time... i couldnt ask people for AND.. they wouldnt pay it even if i did.

But... I do have a lot of the parts to make a relocate kit for the 7.3 single battery setup. DM me if you are interested.

I looked into building a plate that doesnt require a wiring extension but havent gotten to finishing it yet. Depending on how these things sell i might not continue making any of these.

If you have a diesel... KD Fab makes one. That wheel is round. I'm not reinventing it.

I dislike reading forum type content on phones so I access this site almost exclusively from PCs. The desired emoji can be accessed through the Windows built in emoji selector accessed by means of Windows key - period, then typing steak in the search box. Add an "Lu" after and an @ before, and the list should populate.

Well…. Despite having one of the original Gen 1 brackets I just ordered a new model. Couple reasons. I like some of the improvements that came in Gen 2 and secondly and more important I really like @OmahaBravo and the work he’s doing so I’m happy to support him with my money. When I get my Gen 2 brackets they’ll be Ceracoted White to match the TRAMPER. Thanks for the hard work and great products brother. I wish you the very best of luck!

I’d be interested in hood guard for 23+ if/when that becomes available.

Dude... you are famous! This was posted yesterday on one of the car blogs I frequently read:

yea, thats pretty cool. That website is what made one of my buddy's hells gate climbs go viral. I dunno how they go to it so quick or even why... but... its appreciated.

I sense another Dearborn alumni in the works...

🏆 @OmahaBravo

Once it finally cools down in this region (still reaching temps over 110F in October 🥵), I'm going to continue with the bushing project.

brother, i'm standing on the shoulders of giants in this forum. just happy to be here. Thank you for the kind words though.

Hit me up when you get to that bushing. would like to help you see that through and... just maybe, get a file we can share so others can benefit.

Congrats, this is awesome. I am about to order the All Guard Kit because I am a sucker for overbuilt items and absolutely want to support my brother to the north. I currently have all three guards on my truck but am always looking to improve!

Along the same lines, what is the XGPS160 used for? I am wondering if it may be something I need that I don't even know about :ROFLMAO:
