Knife Collections, Knives, EDCs

I know there’s a “What’s in your gun safe thread” going, but do we have any knife collectors in here as well?

I’ve been a big Randall Made Knife collector for a while.. They come and go, while the hunt for new ones is always the best part I’m a fan of big stag, musk ox, ivory, and other natural handled Randalls.

I also collect Microtech, Benchmade, Chris Reeve, etc.. Those are my main daily carries.

I’m a connoisseur of stabby things! Haha there’s Dull Boy, BenchMade, MilMak, MK, and MKC in there. I’ve carried them all to some extent, but settled on the Dull Boy Mini Beekeeper as my daily. It’s been on my side every day for the last 3 years, so I snagged another a couple weeks ago as I prefer having a back up.

I don’t collect knives, I use them, wear them out and move on. However, I do have a Randall that I waited years for and will never use, I’ll pass it along to my son when I die.

Randall knives are by far the best knife you can get, tons of history. If you have a game master you want to sell I’m after one. I will use it, not collect it.

Model 23 - Gamemaster

I’ve owned a few 23’s but don’t have any currently.. I’m more of a 19 guy

Those are cool I’ve had a few of the Storm Trooper variants.

I love knives. I use them so it’s hard to “collect” them. Standard issue in my pocket is benchmade and MKC. They are a tool to be used not a shiny object on your mantel but some are definitely art work.

My EDC is a benchmade but when I’m on the trail and hunting I have my MKC in my pocket and a second on in my pack

I do love Kershaw. When it comes to folding knives they're my favorite.

My wife and I both have the same knife. She has hers on a key ring, and I usually find mine around Christmas to help unpackage the kids toys.

I do love Kershaw. When it comes to folding knives they're my favorite.

I’ve been looking recently at the Kershaw Livewire. I don’t have a lot of knives. I have some hunting/cleaning knives… a kershaw blur folding.

But have been considering a more EDC knife. Really been liking this Livewire the more I look at them.

Question for ya I never heard of Randall so I looked it up there’s a few I definitely like but why don’t they tell what blade steel they’re using? Any idea what they’re using
