I just got my Tuxmats in last night and slapped them in after doing some cleaning around the factory rubber mats that came out. I didn't use any of the clips or anything yet as they were still bent a bit from shipping. I'll revisit them to see if any of the clips or whatever are needed.
So far, the coverage is leaps and bounds better than what I've seen with other brands. The factory rubber mats look like they'd be better fit in a Ranger. I had dirt/mud around the driver's footwell and scuffs on the door sill plate already. I vacuumed and wiped everything down before putting the new mats in. Doesn't change the look of anything other than much less carpet exposed.
The Tuxmats don't feel as durable as the Huskies or Weathertechs, but time will tell I guess. I don't think I'm as hard as others on them since I'm an office monkey during the week. But more destructive than any construction guy or contractor, I have two pre-teen daughters that seemingly destroy everything they touch.
