Husky X-act vs Weathertech HP vs Ford OEM

Working on getting a 27 F-450 with carpet delete. I have heard plat plus has good vinyl and insulation for the flooring. With the addition of a good mat Id like it to be better than carpet but who knows.
Man 450s don't just automatically come with no carpet 🤔

On order 🤘🤘🤘 I thought carpets went out of style in the 80s 😂

I thought about doing that but I was worried about road noise. I have it in my 27 GMC work truck and it's great except for how loud the noise is 🤷🤣
There is insulation under the vinyl floor cover. I test drove a Lariat with carpet delete and a King Ranch with carpet back to back in 2024 and couldn't tell a difference in road noise on the highway. Both were 6.7s. Subjective anecdote obviously, but that was my observation. Ordered mine with the carpet delete.

I will say though that WeatherTech was the only company to get me a mini version so...

...I still went with Tuxmat 🤪.

The BASE versions of Husky and Weathertech are TRASH. Everyone that says these brands are trash had the cheaper version of them. Ive had a few sets of the cheaper Weathertech over the years in trucks/cars. Hard plastic and dont fit right.

I now have the Husky X-Act Countour front and rear mats, in my Tremor, and they fit very well and are great, nice thick rubber. Weathertech has the HP version which is the competitor. Have not used these but people that have them seem to like them.

Husky and Weathertech are made in the USA.

Tuxmat and 3W are Chineseium

Dont mind the dirt haha

I wouldn't be able to see the mat after breathing the fumes of that Archoil bottle! 😜
