I saw $3.99 at Sam’s Club tonight. First time that I’ve seen it below $4 in Arizona in quite some time. 87 is almost down to $3/gal.

At it’s not far off here at 0.9 a gallon more but has been bouncing between 0.6 to the worst 1.1 a gallon more for diesel all fall. Even red died non taxed off-road diesel has been more expensive than regular unleaded for quite some time now. For something that is supposedly cheaper to produce the massive price gap doesn’t make sense even with taxes out.

The problem is the diesel refineries are going end of life with billion dollar refresh costs and the states and federal government are offering huge incentives to shut down permanently. The largest in the NE was just lost in PA. There are only a handful remaining In the US and we don’t import diesel. The feds are doing everything they can to kill diesel.
