That thing is gorgeous!
Thanks! My wife and I always wanted one. We ordered it in May and honestly with all the covid stuff going on i didnt expect to see it till September. Waiting for them to put a 3" lift on it and inline surge protector.

CONGRATS! I have a 2014 Airstream 27FB. It tows like a dream. Any trips planned?
Thanks, ours is a 25fbt. Just locally till i get all the bugs ironed out. Mark twain lake, Kentucky lake, hot springs, and Table rock.

Kentucky lake was my old choice for Mountain Bike trails when I lived in TN.......Great area!

Picked up my 2021 Cirrus 820 this weekend in SLC. Tipped the scale just over 11,500 lbs with a camper wet weight of 3100 lbs. We drove back to Denver taking US 40 through Vernal, Craig and Fraiser over Parleys, Daniel’s, Rabbit Ears and Berthoud Passes. No problems once we got the airbags dialed in. Maintaining speeds of 60-65 averaged 11.9 mpg on the 7.3l with plenty of power. View attachment 1990
Man I'm happy to hear that. Looking to pick up our Tremor tomorrow. We're going either have a Cirrus 820, or Northern Lite 8.11 They are pretty close on dry weight. We've seen the NL, but no one has a 820 near us to see in person, last time I saw one was at a show a few years ago.

What suspension mods have you done to keep it happy? I understand the Tremor uses a small sway bar for off road capability, have you changed this yet? or is it fine the way it is? One thing I've done in the past for a few trucks and vans is install the sumo springs. You mentioned airbags. I've had previous terrible luck (leaks) with those at least 15-20 years ago when I had big boats. What are you using? Any leaks?

Thanks, again.

The 2021 Cirrus 820 is a redesign of the previous version. We looked at just about all truck campers on the market for 2 years before deciding on the Cirrus. The only other ones I would consider at the same or higher quality are Eagle Cap and Hallmark. Note there are always issues with every camper and the industry as a whole has some QC problems. There are a few things that I am changing out but am very happy with our choice.

I left the factory front sway bar as is for now. I put the medium Sumo Springs on the front and it did soften the suspension unloaded. I will probably swap out the stabilizer for a Fox Factory Race ATS and Carli Leveling Springs so I can go up to 37’s. Eventually I will run Fox Factory Race Shocks all around.

Go for Quality on the air bags, Airlift, Hellwig or Carli. I went with Airlift Loadlifter Ultimate with WirelessAir. I also added Daystar cradles which allows full suspension travel unloaded. Added the Big Wig Sway bar and I think I am set for suspension. I also may eventually replace the stock leaf springs with Carli but haven’t done any research on them.

I'm really struggling -- I would absolutely love to order an F-350 Tremor with the 6.7L diesel. The Mrs. and I are also currently shopping for a fifth wheel, and the one we've most likely settled on has an unloaded weight of 12,155 lbs. and a hitch weight of 2,405 lbs. Once the fifth wheel is loaded up though, seems like it would be pretty difficult to stay under payload with the hitch weight.

Is it a futile effort? I could go with the 7.3L for the increased payload, but ultimately diesel would be preferable. Should I just give up and go with a non-Tremor F-350 long bed with the 12,400 GVWR?

whats the GVWR on the 5th wheel?

Looks like it is 16,000 GVWR.
I have weighed my 6.7 Tremor and with wife and dog without a hitch it weighed 8600 LBS. if you assume you maxed it out at 16k and your pin weight is 20 percent that's 3200 lbs pin weight....probably going to be close after hitch, passengers and cargo.....But I would wait to hear from some of the guys who own big 5ers. I know several you tube channels I watch --like BTBR (BigTruckBigRv) would go non Tremor F350.....and maybe even dually at that point or F450 (for the ultra tight turning radius).

I chose a different route, I went with 2800 LBS Sumo Springs In the rear....check: What did you do to your Tremor today....page 15. $240, 20 Minute install............
This shit is so helpful. Love the Knowledge You Provide Dave. Truly a Gods Send MY Man

Thank you very much for the input and insights! Much appreciated!

An F-450 is on the list of contenders, really enjoy BTBR's videos and his red f-450 is pretty sweet. I was just really excited about the off-road opportunities of a Tremor.

More than welcome.

What airbag setup do you have?

Here is a fantastic spreadsheet that will show you if you are technically legal to tow a particular trailer. Get all green checkmarks....your good to go. This spreadsheet is the reason I traded in my FX4 F150....and became a proud Tremor owner. My 2019 Ford edge has a Cargo Capacity of 950 LBS....My F150??...1100 LBS......that isn't enough to put 5 people in it!

I found this video very helpful in explaining this. I see you are always chiming in to help Green Ass Brothers like myself with these questions. Thanks Again. I see how frustrating it is when everyone keeps asking over and over again the same questions. I am guilty to start texting before even just scrolling down the page. I've even responded to a 2019 post like it was today. Sorry if i did that to you. You are a good man brother Dave.

@Uncas , or anyone else that's installed Airlift bags with Daystar Cradles....

A couple questions please:

1. How did you locate the Daystar cradle? Did you just drill the center bolt between the two existing countersunk holes or did you do a test fit to see where the bag landed?

2. When you drilled the hole to install the cradle, how did you deal with the 'cup' below it. Did you drill the hole through both? tap it? drill a bigger hole in the cup to allow room for the nut?

thanks.
