Local farms do jumbo size and 2 fill this belly up.

the neighbor has his own chickens
those are home grown next door

finally got the truck back today

gotta put on the new auxiliary ground strap they found broken

they wanted 2 hours labor to put it on


watch it take me til mid-night

good but they wanted 2shop hrs to replace this auxiliary ground

took more time to get the right sized sockets than it did to get it done

a 12mm on one end & a 7mm (1/4in socket) on the other end


at least it was simple & I'm done

Wonder if they had your cab off for warranty work.... I've ripped one of those doing that before.

back home finally
tomorrow would have made it 3 weeks for warranty inspection, transmission gasket.

no I'm not washing it yet
i will after big bend

got warranty coverage extended 3yrs 24k added lights to the warranty this time

hope to get the old tent off & new tent on tomorrow

well finally go the new tent all setup ready to go.

just need to slide it over or move my second vehicle

i still need to raise it 8" to 10" to back under it to clamp it on the truck

had to reconfigure the mount. spacing was different from the old tent.

those half-slot struts are way stiff. it's like having a c-channel beam under the entire length of the tent. one of them would be strong enough & I need 2 for stability. so instead of 3 or even 4 cross bars of support on a typical rack mounted tent. this setup supports the tent mount beams along the entire length on the tent. it's pretty solid & stable this way.

also, you probably don't realize due to my rigid job box i have (want) to mount the tent sideways. I'll enter the tent on a side window off the tailgate. no ladders for me.
last thing i need is something to fall off of. cause i probably would!!!!!

I figured you were going for sideways. My tent is so long no way I could pull the sideways mount off lol.
