I believe things are about to get busy for me so my ability to allocate time to this will likely go to zero for a bit.

Just saw this post for the first time, and needless to say I'm very interested. We make a couple trips a year through the Ozark area and love camping in the area. We could easily reserve a date that coincides with a camping trip. Put me in for attendance!

I'm just a distracted slacker these days! Been installing lots of stuff on the truck lately. I'll post a thread on my "build" soon.

Incidentally, we already have a roadtrip to the area the last week of May next year. If this happened to be the first week of June it would be perfect to stay out a bit longer and catch it.

Looks like I’m headed to Ozark National Forest this weekend for a long weekend. I’ll go explore some trails and camping locations and mark them for us to potentially use next year for this.

Some research over the weekend on trails shows a lot of these are “narrow” as described in the trail guides/ notes.

I’ll let you all know what I find.

Only thing that’s for sure on my itinerary is a burger at Oark Cafe

The rest is wherever the trail (and OnX) takes me.

Yes a good bit of the trails are tight, especially now after the foliage has been going full tilt for a few months.

Considering most want to avoid pinstripes... the only options i'm seeing are using the maintained roads and then hitting up some of the local sights.
I have a bit more exploring to do but it'll be a lot easier to do once I get my LP
