FYI 2022 Updated Production Schedule

Dealer's aren't getting information that can move Ford's share price or be construed by the SEC as shareholder guidance. There are over a quarter million people working at Ford dealerships, and they have a terrible turnover rate. The easiest way to avoid the liability of them leaking information is to not give them any.
They are still the communication channel with customers. Ever try to buy a vehicle directly from Ford?

Sure, sure. But they aren't communicating anything useful. Because Ford doesn't give them any information. That's kind of everyone's point/complaint here

Fact is, we do not know what Ford provides them. What we do know is some dealerships provide more info to customers than others. Is that because Ford is only providing that information to "select" dealers, or is it that there are some dealers that take a little time & filter thru the info provided & then give more info to the customer. Look back to March 15 & read posts in reference to some dealers not even being aware that 22s were available to order. Would you think that these same dealers are the ones providing more or less info?

We 100% know what information Ford makes available to dealers.

You are right that not all dealers know how or care to access the information available to them, let alone share it.

Yet another inexcusable flaw in the system. This isn’t 1921 anymore.

So I just had cyberman run my vin # and he said i was still scheduled for 7/26 not sure why marketing said there was nothing showing

how/where'd you request from cyberdman?

I just went and looked at the clouds in the sky. It seems like there will be ongoing supply chain issues. The answer isn’t able to be given yet. However, it’s not a reflection of our own self worth. Be one with destiny. ✌️

Well for all of you waiting on your 22's... Just talked to ford customer service. My 21 production date has been pushed to July 31. With an ETA of 18 October. I am a little pissed off.

What were your order details again?

How? The plant will be producing 22s well before July 31. July 10th is the start date for 22 IIRC.

There's seemingly a lot of 2021 orders with production dates after the 22 MY switch. It remains to be seen how Ford is going to handle that. Let's hope they surprise all of these people with 2022's.

Interesting, not that it would be common, but what if someone truly hates the larger screens and truly wanted a 21 over a 22? They'd be SOL.

I honestly think the delta between interior of the 21 and the 22 is so subtle that 99.9% of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Hadn't heard this before. Why?
Sync 4 vehicles are encrypted in a way that tuners haven’t been able to break in. Then there’s the problem of OTA updates that would possibly conflict/disrupt with tuning parameters. Also the possibility of Ford remotely detecting tuning and flagging the vehicle resulting in warranty issues.

It’s possible if not probable Sync 4 vehicles will eventually get cracked but not as of yet.

Interesting. Good to know. Have a good link to more details on that?
Nothing handy but any of the major tuning companies would have further information.

Also some threads on the F-150 forums. Those guys have been trying to tune since the 21’s arrived. Likely an even bigger topic with the mustang community but I don’t frequent those parts.
