I always have Auto enabled, but no schedule.turn on auto updates and setup a schedule. even if its saying no updates do that, if they push it it should get it. ill reinstall my APIM sometime this week.

Thanks for the info. I will set mine to a schedule tomorrow...From my reading a schedule helps with getting them. mine was on a schedule before the swap.
That's so weird, the whole point of Auto is so you get the update as its pushed out. Leave it to Ford to not know how to do software. From my reading a schedule helps with getting them. mine was on a schedule before the swap.
Just went out and turned my schedule on. Also had to turn automatic updates on as well. Thanks for the info. I will set mine to a schedule tomorrow...
I think the point of the schedule is due to the sizes of the OTA, if you leave it on automatic and they send an update while you’re home let’s say noon, and you leave your wifi connection it delays or makes the update take FOREVER to finish. If you schedule it for a time you know the truck can access wifi and the connection won’t be lost it will wait till that time to do the update and it can finish it all at onceThat's so weird, the whole point of Auto is so you get the update as its pushed out. Will the truck wake itself up in the middle of the night if I have it set to 3am?I think the point of the schedule is due to the sizes of the OTA, if you leave it on automatic and they send an update while you’re home let’s say noon, and you leave your wifi connection it delays or makes the update take FOREVER to finish. I believe so. Check this outWill the truck wake itself up in the middle of the night if I have it set to 3am?
I just set mine to update Monday at 12AM. Again, super odd that you can't do more than one day? I wanted to set it for every day of the week, not just one lol.I believe so. Check this out
I don’t think it can be every day. I’m pretty sure you have to pick a day and time and that’s when it will try this is what it says in fordpass@JHForman812 Any ideas?
you could change it every day…Bummer. Could mean missing an update by 6 days![]()
I think the setting has to take effect in the server first and there's probably a delay, knowing Ford.you could change it every day…![]()
Sounds about right… we should all be getting emails any day now that say something to like:I think the setting has to take effect in the server first and there's probably a delay, knowing Ford.
That alone would be worth the cost to me.Gonna work on it when I have time later tonight but I think I can get it
