Is my understanding correct that it's possible to mount up to 2 dual gear pods on the over the cab rack? Are they easily removable? My use case would be only having them mounted for trips and stored the rest of the time and want to make sure it's not a pain. Also, any deals on the gear pod(s) if purchased along with this?

@gmoon I'm getting the SmartCap Evo Sports for my '24 F-350 Tremor and wanted to ask if Leitner has any racks compatible with the SmartCap. I'm considering the Leitner ACS Platform Rack and need to figure out the rack setup for the cap when I get it in mid-June. I like the idea of having Leitner's racks on both the cab and the rear cap for a consistent roofline look. My use case for the ACS Platform is to haul 2 pairs of ActionTrax (recovery boards), surfboards, or Leitner's gear pods for storing gear and toys. For the rack on the SmartCap, I'll be putting up my James Baroud roof top tent. Any advice would be appreciated! -chris

Yes, you can run 2x Gear Pods at the same time. Installation and Removal takes about 10-15 min but it's been done a little bit faster.

Right now, Leitner is testing out the mounting system, but it's in the works.

They just want to make sure it holds up to their quality standards so they can offer the best product to customers.

If you want to get a rack at a discount, now is a good time.

They'll be offering something soon, but I can't give an exact timeline.

they are shipping, i either need to know the rack width or thickness of the bracket pinch mount ..that way i can see if it will work with my rhino pioneer platform rack. I will measure it tomorrow
