Ford Emblems

Finally got the rear emblem that’s blacked out with a chrome outer perimeter. Doesn’t match my smoked front. But it’s what I could find from oem parts.

Pictures and part number in the first post.
I vaguely recall that the 21+ Bronco tailgate smoked oval is a direct fit for the Super Duty Platty tailgate. The rings are smoked. I cannot confirm it though.
PN: M-1447-SC2

Will take a gander at that
I did a little research. I don’t think it’s Bronco. The factory blue emblem appears to be LB5Z-9942528-A Name Plate for the SD Platty.
To get a smoked/ BAP emblem, I’ve got to figure out what else takes this blue emblem that you can also order a BAP package in.

Had my parts guy do some research. He says he has the smoked badges coming for black appearance package.

Will see if they are the correct ones.

Was 102 for the front emblem and 155 for the rear. Will report back if this is a good option with part numbers as well.
@Ole703 Did your guy ever come through with this?

I don't recall if my 22 platty rear emblem was smoked or chrome (I think chrome), but I got it off a part for the explorer. I don't believe it matched the front, but since it was still black, and small on the back, I didn't care. No one is comparing them together, and black looked way better than blue

I had to cut off a small plastic pillar or some alignment thingy off the emblem, very easy, and it fit right up

EDIT: Just went out and looked, they are both smoked and look fantastic! haha

So the smoked / black emblem from a Explorer is on the back of your truck?

Yep. I can't remember what year. I think the info is in my build thread "Vecman's Boyhood Dream Realized"

Need some help recently picked up a set of these but it doesn’t come with the camera washer door cover anyone able to find a part number for the cover?

I believe it was posted earlier in the thread.

That’s a link to the emblem I got but doesn’t come with the camera washer door. Not sure why Ford would sell the emblem and not include the washer door cover.
The door gets swapped over from your current emblem if equipped.

I assume your truck doesn’t have that currently?

Time will tell if they hold up. I am very pleased with them, the quality is great.

@Ole703 how is the front emblem attached to the grille? I haven’t gotten around to installing it yet (waiting for horns to show up). I thought there were nuts on the back of the factory one, but the studs on the black one are not threaded.

Just did mine today. Three nuts and it comes right off. Like 5 minutes after the grill is off and lying down. When you put the nuts on they create the thread.
