It was $5.54 – $5.79 a gallon along the way from Austin to the Bolivar Peninsula this weekend.

Near LAX - $5.89/87 just now, another 8-gallon top off, almost $47.

I thought it would be cheaper near Houston as well, but I saw some truck stops advertising $5.99.

We stopped at a Buc-ee's on the way back outside of Houston and it was $5.79.

Those are, comparitively speaking, then, "fair" prices for kerosene!

In CA, I have to run my card multiple times. $370-$430. That means 3 transactions.

Diesel in CA Bay Area is floating around $8.00/gal unless you get renewable which is 10% less per gallon—I won’t use that stuff if possible.

It’s so great averaging 13 mpg as a daily driver.

I use the renewable exclusively unless I leave the state. Higher cetane, better lubricity, lower emissions, (though not a big selling point) It's processed like a hydrocarbon, it is not B20 "blended". It's marketed at Union 76 and Costco to name a couple of places. The reason it is cheaper is a political thing I won't go into. They are trying to make this the only fuel available. Then the prices will increase for all.

• B20: Produced by transesterification of oils/fats with an alcohol, creating fatty acid methyl esters. It is blended with petroleum diesel and cannot be used alone in all engines without adjustments Hart Fueling Service.
• Renewable diesel: Made via hydrotreating, which removes oxygen and converts triglycerides into hydrocarbons, making it chemically identical to petroleum diesel Hart Fueling Service+1.

My wife had to co-sign a loan for me to pay for it and I only needed 15 gals

it worked though, I'm paying it out with a 'cheezy payment' program

Same, I run R99 or R96 exclusively unless I dont have a choice.

Engine runs noticeably smoother/quieter on it, especially when it's cold out.

Yeah, we have a good sized facility in Dickinson. I missed our yard in Williston as it was very fit for purpose. Dickinson we actually have an oil well

We've got family up there.
My wifes family used to be mainly in D.L.
now they're pretty much scattered to Mandan, Parshall and Surry/Minot.

One station I had to stop at was $7.29. Put $110 in, at the final fill-up, it was $6.19. In total today I spent $405…..
it said 0 miles for about 2 miles.
