Best Jump Starter

I have used this several times with confidence. It started a diesel showing 9 amps easily. It saved my butt camping; we were deep in the bush. The batteries wouldn’t hold a charge. We still hunted and used this to start the truck for several days. Can’t say enough about this product. I also bought the GB50 for the wife’s car. According to the manufacturer, it loses less than 1% a month and I should be charge once a year (I check every 6 months) and you should be good to go. Buy once, cry once.

I use the same and have a smaller model for the wife’s car. I’ve been very happy with both.

I went with Jump and Carry. Big but nice have it for large equipment and trucks.
Have you missplaced the cord that goes to it? I travel alot. damn cord! My old Matco just used a standard plug

I have both the Adew previously mentioned and a antigravity XP-10 I’ve owned the antigravity for about 4 years now and it’s worked great for other friends cars and a few electric start dirt bikes. The adew is fairly new and in the wife’s car after her old school one died (giant pack style) it’s worked great in testing not sure about longevity yet.
Though it’s expensive I’d rather buy another antigravity but it was out of stock at the time of needing a second one. Make sure you get a legit one as antigravity unfortunately suffers from Amazon fakes.

I keep everything together. Sorry to hear that.

I have a snap on jump box that also has a 110v power. I’ve boosted trucks and tractors works great

Anyone try one of these?

SP HD Diesel

Until watching that video… I would say NOCO 100% of the time. Now I’m curious. But he appears to be sponsored by SPTools, so of course it’s best….

anyone with electrical background have an opinion?

I personally use a 12v 22ah lead acid jumper pack. Mine happens to be made by Duracell. Although the technology for the lithium ion ones are good, they don't have the capacity to power things like inflators or winches. It's not like I'm tight on space in the truck either. The best part is that it's user serviceable. When the battery dies, I just replace it with another battery.

I have a NOCO GB150 and it works great on my truck. However, a few weeks back my wife’s battery completely died to zero volts. I could not get the NOCO to work because it could not detect that it was hooked to a battery. I never read the manual for it, so it may have the ability to override it.

Perhaps the Noco was protecting itself; maybe it thought the battery was a dead short (0 ohms) if it was indicating 0 volts.

My 4yrs old noco GB70 never fail me.

Any idea if it's worth getting the new Boost MAX or Boost X, over the older pro?
