Best Jump Starter

I have used this several times with confidence. It started a diesel showing 9 amps easily. It saved my butt camping; we were deep in the bush. The batteries wouldn’t hold a charge. We still hunted and used this to start the truck for several days. Can’t say enough about this product. I also bought the GB50 for the wife’s car. According to the manufacturer, it loses less than 1% a month and it should be charge once a year (I check every 6 months) and you should be good to go. Buy once, cry once.

My Jeep towed in 5 times, first they gave me new battery, then, starter, then ignition switch, once nothing and finally got what they call a "Tip um switch" the charger would not have helped me. Jeeps are junk. I still have it and love it but they are made like shit.

Electrical systems in Jeeps are total crap (as are some other things)... I concur, they fun as hell when all is working well... off-road money pits!

If your not looking for one to keep in your vehicle I highly recommend the Booster PAC ES5000. While you could keep it in a truck it's a little bigger than what's been mentioned above. We had these at work and they got a work out and never failed. There were many occasions where they were needed to jump multiple cars one right after another. I got my first one when I owned a 2004 6.0L and it had no problem jumping a diesel. That pack lasted about 10 years or so and I replaced it with the same pack that has been sitting on my garage floor, plugged in, since the day I got it and it works perfectly. They sell them at Amazon now but I'm pretty sure I got mine at Northern Tool. They also make bigger and smaller models based upon what you may want.

i completely agree... i won't buy any jeep made after 2006 .... when jeeps were good... before they got bought by fiat they turned to straight junk .... at FCA product have nothing but issues .... the reason i have a 1998, 1999, and 2000 jeep XJ

YES THEY ARE .... but i don't mind beating up a jeep on the trail

Honestly the 2017 JK Rubicon is awesome, we all agree FCA makes crap. I replaced the entire suspension brakes wheels tires, exhaust , bumpers, its a great $50,000.00 starting point. I love the V-6 with the 6 speed manual. The weight distribution and lower center of gravity make it fun. I plan to get the turbo charger for it soon and dump my BFG for Nitto RGs.

Went on a semi-gnarly trip through Death Valley a month ago in my buddy's new Rubicon Recon. I was moderately impressed although the sway bar disconnect feature didn't work, maybe because it's electrical?

I just ordered a gooloo 4000a for $135 on amazon. $35 off click coupon. I'm a sucker for a sale.?‍♂️

Looking for recommendations on best jump starters that you’ve personally used. Lots of reviews on Amazon, but would rather hear what y’all have to say.
I pick up this when I got my Tremor
I hope this helps.

I will but the battery has a 5 year no questions asked warranty ... So once that over going to do red top
If I can make a suggestion - go with the OEM Ford replacement (Motorcraft). Got 7 years out of the original in my 2013 Raptor and have now purchased several more to throw in my older trucks which can sit for quite some time. I have not been particularly impressed with any of the optimas I've used and they're in the $200+ range.

850CCA's, ~$135ish, have been awesome.

+1 for NOCO. I have a 1000 and will be getting a GB150 (3000A) for the Tremor.

NOCO GB150! Starts everything that I've hooked it to. Lightweight compared some older model "battery packs" that I have, and holds a charge for a long time!

I may do that after this auto zone battery dies

I have a Noco Genius 2D to mount under the hood, it stays put, directly wired to the battery. I'll wire it into the AC plug and if it's cold enough to plug in the block heater, I flip the switch to turn the trickle charger on to maintain the battery.

I also keep one of these around for various things on the property:

Amazon has the Noco GB150 on sale for $253. (Normally $299).
I picked up one for my truck. I also watched a YouTube review and the guy showed that the GB150 can also run slides in/out on a travel trailer if you need it.
