Some great views out there, plenty of water crossings, and tight trails to test out Ford's clear coat lol. I never thought I'd see gasser Tremor's outnumber the diesel flavor, but they came to play. Good group of guys as well, and many thanks to @OmahaBravo for putting it all together.

Well......I just landed back in Missouri after 10 days in California. One of our guys hit a pedestrian with his work truck last week and is currently on suspension. The person is ok though. Hitting a ped usually ends in termination which means I'll be taking up some of the slack. My work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday but I rarely work Saturdays because I get everything done by Friday. They have already asked me to work Saturday which leads me to believe that my friend will be fired tomorrow. It sucks because this was to be the closest meet up to where I live. I'm afraid I have to sit this one out. So sorry. Bummed.

Well, thanks for coming out to California Don. It was good to see you again. Glad you made it home safe. Sorry to hear you’re gonna miss this meet up and have to work, that’s a real bummer about your friend.
That would’ve been pretty cool tho to hit two meet ups in the same month and only one week apart from each other.
Sounds like @OmahaBravo did a good job setting up this meet.
From the pictures I see looks like you boys are having some fun.

As mentioned previously, @OmahaBravo, our fearless leader decided to test a mud puddle for depth. 30’ feet in he found the sunken ruts and was sitting on his frame. With the water past the bottom of his front door, he smartly decided not to open it, and in true “Dukes of Hazard” fashion, the window became the new door. A big shout out to @Dusty_bones for his ability to jump onto the truck and avoid the mud, while hooking up the recovery point. Kyle hooked up, gave it some gas and pulled him back. 20 minutes of peer pressure was not enough to convince anyone else to try the hole (although we were close on getting Dusty bones into the pit) so we rolled on using the bypass.

@Toxophilite super awesome to have you and your brother drive all the way from AZ for this. Thanks for bringing all the gear to help with the tacos. Definitely made it much more relaxed. NGL tho, Food city chips were pretty good but once ole @Mister Bevilaqua and his buddy busted out the HEB chips, the game was over!
Glad yall could make it and hope yall made it back unscathed (from the road, the trail is a different story ) Sorry, not sorry, you had to be outnumbered by gassers

Shoutout to @Dusty_bones for helping get my rear recovery point put in place (exactly why i stressed having one lol) Dusty joined the trip at the last moment but it was awesome having him and his buddy. They had tons of great stories and made for a great time around the campfire.

If anyone's taking notes: driver side is water tight. passenger side is not. M18 vacuum came in clutch.

so... Toxophilite and Mister Bevilaqua had to leave a bit early which left just the gassers. Well, you know what happens without diesel supervision

We ratcheted up the spice a bit much.
Cliff's truck got a touch too close to getting some permanent Arkansas memories left on his passenger side.
So we broke out the milk (aka winch)

Made it home and got the important bts unloaded and put away. @OmahaBravo out did himself from the pre trip trail cleanup and scouting to some great trail guiding. It was awesome to put some faces to the screen names and meet sot great people. @Toxophilite you and your Bother were a warm addition to the group. Thank you for the time you took to came hang and play. I do so hope we can meet again sometime. @Dusty_bones, there was never a a lack of enthusiasm or story. Your selfless service to the hijinks was appreciated, and again I look forward to the next trip your on. @that_Kyle_guy and your companion, sorry i am bad with names till I say it a few times. Yall's taco skills and trail leading on the second day was rivaled by very few. Your ingenuity of essential equipment is a breath of fresh air & I am glad to have you not far from home. If ever you want to meet up and go tool around I am game! @Mister Bevilaqua it was great to meet you and your friend you have a beautiful truck! Thanks for the goodies from HEB and hope you can make the next trip. I don't have any pics or videos worth a darn. To busy driving lol. When's the next trip!

Can't thank @OmahaBravo enough for orchestrating all this, and the rest of the crew for letting us tag along! @that_Kyle_guy made some great tacos. Had great company all around and a lot of knowledge and generosity.

Listening to the Whipple roaring behind me with only a cloud of dust and LP9s glowing yellow rushing towards me in the rear view was a lot of fun, thanks for the show @ccradier ! Thoroughly enjoyed that.
