Adding lighted platinum sill plates

Where did you order the light sills from?

Amazon. Unfortunately the listing for the ones I purchased are now gone. I also have an extra pair I’d sell if you don’t mind a minor defect. I ordered the first pair and there was one spot slightly missing the brushed finish so they sent me another pair.

I bought the extra set from @Suncoast and they plugged right up to my 2020. Easy transaction and he shipped them quickly.
Oh by the way he has an Etsy store with some Superduty stuff in it.

FYI, to all interested. @NEOHIO is developing a lighted sill harness for trucks missing the factory wiring harness with the plug n play connector. I tested his prototype and have to say it worked outstanding!! The quality of the cabling, connectors was top notch. It jumpers off the existing light in the footwell area and provides the mating connector for the lighted sills. I'd highly recommend reaching out to him if you're thinking about adding lighted sills or his website to see other items he has.

FYI - We saw the lighted sill plates on the 2027 trucks at KTP last week. Looks like they are back for this model year. We only saw Platinum models when we were there, so I do not know if they will use the same harness for the other trim levels.

Edit... I originally read "they are black for this model year" and then reread it and see that you said they are BACK. I thought they were included in the Platinum plus package still the last few years?

That's interesting. I plan to add them to my Plati when it finally is built, but who knows, maybe they will add it to the non-Plus package. One of the reasons I didn't get the platinum plus package was because I do not like the interior color. I think the plus package comes with the lighted sills, though, so maybe they changed the interior color for that package, or maybe they are adding them to the non-plus package. The only thing I had to go off of when ordering with the order guide, so hopefully there aren't disappointing undocumented changes when it arrives.

I think the 3 Platinum's we saw were all the Platinum Plus trim level, so maybe I spoke too soon. I didn't realize that the Platinum Plus models already had them. I have a 24, the year prior to the Platinum Plus option and we did not receive them. I assumed they were gone from all trim levels.
