lol. That reminds me of the 20 something’s that run into me in the city. They can’t be bothered to look up from their phone so I don’t move. The look of bewilderment is hilarious.
That reminds me of a time my wife and I were in Vegas. We were walking down the strip and there was a group of 4 guys walking towards us. They were walking next to each other and basically spanned the whole with of the side walk so there was no going left or right to go around them.

I just stopped where I was and my wife was standing next to me, but slightly behind me. Three of the 4 guys saw me as they got within a few feet of us, but the one immediately in front of me didn't look ahead and kept talking to his friends. Welp, he was a bit smaller than me and I braced for the collision, resulting in him essentially bouncing off of me.

At that point it seemed like he was going to throw a punch until he noticed his friends were dying laughing. It was then he actually looked at me. I waived at him and said, "hi!" with a smile on my face, which made his confusion even worse as his instincts made him think he was just attacked, but a much larger man smiling and saying hi to him as his friends were laughing at him didn't sync up. At that point we stepped around him and went on our way. Always makes me laugh when I think of that encounter.

I laughed at his post, but I’m secretly hurt. Lol.
Don’t get me wrong, I love me the wood fired smoker. But being able to go back to bed when cooking 12- 14 lbs of brisket on Christmas Eve is so very nice. I used to stay up and stoke the fire. Not now.

The manly solution to this problem is sons. I haven't had to do those shifts in the wee hours of the morning for years.

I’m past that point. Lol.

My first reaction was not all of us have time to make a fire every day, Clubbo! I've got more important shit to do 😂

F*ck, that reminds me - I've got three bent brake levers to replace, a silencer to repack, a clutch to freshen up, two top ends to do, six air filters to clean, and some leaking fork seals to fix. Gotta run...
