2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

I’ve seen a few on other Forums go into production and get a window sticker. Not sure if they got out of the plant before the strike.
Mine went "in production" on 10/6. I do not have a window sticker yet. My portal has not changed since 10/6 and just still says "in production".

There’s another way to check window stickers that provides them much earlier than the portal link. Search around for this link where you need to paste in your vin and see if it works

I guess that’s not unexpected. I’d have hoped that a priority or working through holdover orders first would be rule of the day since it seems like people like me are still willing to toss cash their way for a damned truck..though that want for a new truck is dwindling a bit every day.

I don’t get scarcity of parts/supply chain argument (or have less sympathy) since others seemed to have figured it out - running lean is great from an accounting perspective but damn... That being said, I do get the strike thing and its impact on supply chain.

I’m a 2023 f350 platinum tremor w/6.7 turned 2024 f350 platinum tremor w/6.7. The wait continues to drive around the Bay Area for work during the week and some camping on the weekends with the 6 year old.
Too many Platinum’s get ordered when the order banks open. So there’s instantly a back log. Dealers earn new allocations on trucks sold. So an allocation for a Platinum that only a small percentage each month gets scheduled gets wasted for the dealer. And since the Platinum is slow to get scheduled and arrive and get sold to earn another allocation, a luxury trim vehicle is not the best vehicle for a dealer to have their allocations locked to.
All things to think about with orders of the luxury trims.
Late in the year (March / April onward) those luxury trims will get scheduled more quickly. And quickly earn dealers more Suoer Duty allocations.

I've ready people talking about it but never found the link posted.

I haven't heard of anyone's truck going into production or be released from the plant. I know with the plant just starting up, things will be slow. But is there any way to see if things are actually moving (even if it's super slow)?

I could be wrong but I think that fseriesforlife might work there?

I've seen a few comments on how only "luxury" orders are slow to get processed. I ordered an XLT Tremor through my dealership, priority code 15. First confirmation email received from Ford on 9/15. No update since, including after 45 days which was yesterday. Any cause for concern?

Because of the one scheduled per dealer in each round, nature of scheduling, the quickest way to get scheduled is through a small dealer that has just your super duty on order and an allocation for it. You’ll get scheduled first round.

A huge dealer with 40 super duties a head of you will take 40 pick rounds to get to your truck, even if they happen to have 40 Super Duty allocations which they may not. If Ford is only scheduling 4 pick rounds per week, you’ll wait 10 weeks to get scheduled at the big dealer.
All dealers usually get at least one Super Duty allocation per month even if they didn’t earn any more.
You just don’t want a dealer with more orders than allocations, and don’t want one with tons of orders ahead of yours.
This makes sense. The last F150 order I did was the smallest dealer I have ever seen. Got in the order queue in no time. That dealer is gone unfortunately. Thanks for this info. I will try more dealers.

I don't like the limited availability of lariat
I don't like the "Scheduled orders may be pushed out to January build weeks."

Good to know that production is officially starting 11/2.

At least if you’re scheduled it is getting built. Better than waiting a year to find out it is not coming.

F350 Platinum Tremor HO 6.7 no sunroof no bedliner no power steps. Ordered 7/17 priority 19, got the confirmation from ford the same day.
Update from dealer today said that Ford moved the priority from 19 to 4 and in his opinion should have a VIN soon depending when Kentucky gets rolling good again. I know the pri 19 is dealer assigned but not sure what it means when ford ups the priority code in their system to a 4.

Checked my Vin on the website, got my window sticker, production started 10-3 and release date is 10/31 haven't got a built notification yet but it's looking good.

The priority ranges a dealer can assign seem to change year to year. Used to be that dealers couldn’t assign below 10. Then it changed to you need regional rep permission to go to a priority 3. But 4 a dealer could assign on their own. Not sure what it currently is.

Codes 10-19 do not have priority between dealers. They are treated the same between dealers. Codes below 10 do influence between dealers. Codes of 2-3 are typically used to replace a vehicle damaged in shipment for example.

The dealer said ford moved the priority to 4. The dealer had it at 19 when submitted. The dealer was surprised. I'm not a carry over or a loss replacement or anything like that. Just a shmo who called on the first day the order banks opened to buy a new truck. 4 years ago I did special order a Raptor....maybe I got some street cred?...kidding...just curious what it all means.
