2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

The dealer said ford moved the priority to 4. The dealer had it at 19 when submitted. The dealer was surprised. I'm not a carry over or a loss replacement or anything like that. Just a shmo who called on the first day the order banks opened to buy a new truck. 4 years ago I did special order a Raptor....maybe I got some street cred?...kidding...just curious what it all means.
Ford changing a priority code without the dealer knowing is kind of weird. Dealers use priorities to take care of their major customers over smaller customers. And Ford shouldn’t interfere with that.
But my guess for the reason is that Ford makes more $$ on Platinums but can only build them at a rate of about 5% a month. You have a very early order on 7/17. So your Platinum should be one of the first to get built. Ford want to make sure it gets scheduled over a Lariat or XL for profit reasons $$$ so they are making sure it gets scheduled on November 9th when they start scheduling again post strike. Watch for emails with a VIN on the 9th.

Interesting. I will report back if it plays out that way. Lots of people with platinum tremors though

Has anyone seen or heard of SD being built since the strike ?

They just started back up on Monday, so I'd wager we won't see a 24 roll off the line until the end of the week, beginning of next week.

The Kentucky truck plant is not starting the Super Duty line until Thursday morning the 2nd.
The Expedition/Navigator line restarted on Monday morning.
Dang, do they sell more of the SUVs? Seems like trucks would be more important being used for construction and all that

I know some folks have window stickers for their 24s and they show in production. Not tremors though.

So really interesting.

There were a bunch of 2024 Super Duty’s placed in “Production” status on 10/04/2023 with Window Stickers with 10/04/23 invoice dates at the bottom. These trucks had 10/9//23 schedule weeks. Normally, the invoice date at the bottom center of the Window Sticker never ever changes.

All those vehicles now have 10/31/23 invoice dates on their Window Stickers. This tells me few or no My2024 trucks were finished prior to the strike. And they are being finished starting today.

Every time I click "view window sticker" the screen just flickers and nothing... Truck isn't in production yet, but it tries to load the page, I guess. Even tried opening in another tab but still nothing. Only tried on mobile though

I’m excited to see more Glacier Gray rolling off the line. It’d be nice to see photos of it in sunlight.

So I’ve been spending way too much time researching all this. It seems that Ford has recently changed things so older info about Blend dates on Window Sticker etc is no longer valid.

Here’s what happens now (and the post strike startup-is probably affecting this)
About 7 to 14 days prior to your trucks body being dropped on the frame and rolling off the assembly line you’ll get an “In Production” status change, and a window sticker (only thru the ford site listed many times here on this thread, not the tracker email link).
My guess is the 14 days is based on delays. Most are going to be 7 days prior.

I think the strike is making the 7 day before body drop window less than 7 days for this week only (week of 10/30)

The trucks on pre strike scheduled for body drop 10/12 now have 10/30 invoice dates which in the past would have meant a 11/6 body drop.
My guess is the body drop actually occurred on 11/2 during todays restart on these trucks. So invoice date compared to body drop (in old days “blend”) are screwy with the post strike restart. Watching production during the next few days will provide light as to whether the above is right or a bad guess.

The early My24 production slip based on invoice date would roughly indicate a 26 day delay due to a 2 week strike. I have trouble thinking that’s accurate. My guess is based on plant production delays is the strike caused a
3 week (21 day) delay in our trucks.

Watching “In production” notices by this forum membership and built dates notices will help understand all of this better in the next week.

Is there an in production thread, or if not make one? 🤷

Mine said 10/3 on window sticker and emailed in production with build week of 10/9 before strike and swiitched to 10/31 on window sticker on Tuesday but no new build date notification yet, however they might be updating the system because I couldn't access any info on build week now when I checked it today. I assume it's being built this week or next?

My truck went "in production" on 10/06. It was originally scheduled for week of 10/09. Checking the window sticker today it has 10/31 in the Special Order box. I happened to download a copy of the window sticker on Tuesday. It shows a 10/06 date. So the winder sticker has been updated since the original in the in the last 48 hours.

Instead of the tremor I ordered a blackout lariat ultimate non tremor this time around, sold the 22 tremor with 7.3 gasser day before strike when t i thought i was in the clear went for the ho diesel this time with snow plow prep. It wasn't available with tremor package

Haven’t seen any new posts to this thread since Thursday night - is it still live? It has been extremely useful for monitoring progress in 24MY Tremor orders

Yeah I haven’t gotten any email updates in a while. But, my order was originally scheduled for 11/20. Looked last week and it moved to 11/27. I looked last night and it moved to 12/4.

Mine has said in production since 10/3 no updates except date on window sticker

Mine still shows 11/13 with no updates in two weeks. I did not get the text/email on the last 45 day mark.
