Hi all, new here, I hear a lot of you all mention confirmation email from Ford shortly after you placed your order, should I have received something from Ford direct? I received a "Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgment-FD" from the salesman, that all. Priority 10. I ordered from a dealership on 9/5/23, 24 F-250 Antimatter Blue Lariat w/ HO, Black Appearance, Lariat Ultimate Pkg, Tremor, Dual Moonroof, Rapid Heat, Engine Block Heater, Max Recline.

All depends on how the dealer set it up. Some dealers put in your email with ford and some dealers put in their own email with ford. If you have your order code and sales code, you can call ford and they can give you updates.

I ordered my Tremor on July 24th and to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be scheduled for production until next year..... but surprisingly I got my build date today! October 30th is Fords prediction. I got my VIN and all! Stoked!

(I got a Lariat Ultimate package with the 7.3 Godzilla. Tremor, Blackout package, and spray in bed liner as well as Retractable tonneau cover.) other options as well obviously but I have heard some of the listed options causing delays in the past)

In addition to what @ACreeker said, you can also use the chat function on Ford's website to get a status. https://www.ford.com/help/contact/ You'll need your Sales Code (which identifies your dealer) and Order Code (which identifies your order) to get the status update online or over the phone.

We've seen a number of people who have confirmed the dealer entered in their email address (spelling correct as well) who never received a confirmation email. If you're going to get one, it usually comes pretty quick after the order is submitted. You may or may not get 45 day update emails (usually just a sorry your order is taking so long to build message). These come intermittently for some and regularly for others. I received the confirmation email 3 of the 45 day emails over the course of a year (should have received 4 more).

Your dealer will always be able to give you the most information about your order and Ford Chat or speaking with a representative will only confirm that they have your order and that it is waiting to be scheduled. The emails never give you any useful info until you get the email saying your order has been scheduled.

No email here but the day is young. Got a 7.3 Lariat Tremor with the ultimate package. Wondering if the Baja interior is holding it up. Just more to save for the downpayment I guess.

I also had priority 19, and I just got my email today with my build date scheduled. Oct 30th.

Yeah sounds like basically what I got. I ordered 8/31 so I believe I’m back off the line somewhat with Grainger. Likely that’s the reason.

So my dealer just confirmed that my order number isn't what ford sent, and ford chat verified. I had ordered an F350 on 9/1 but on 9/2 canceled and did it as F250 got the email from Ford. Somehow my order is 1 digit higher but never got that email from Ford. Just weird I got the first and second orders via email but the 3rd didn't come in.

I found out my Order Code went from a 3 to a 4 for a holdover order for a ‘24 platinum. I presume not much changes but it is a bummer to see these trucks starting to get built while I remain in purgatory. I don’t think I had anything outlandish on my order. Oh well, the wait continues!

Ordered 24 F250 Lariat 7.3 Ultimate Tremor Sport on 7/19. I’m as anxious as the rest to get it built but I will gladly wait until the UAU finalizes their contract with FMC. I want “invested” workers assembling my truck, not disgruntled ones! Hopefully they will come to an agreement soon.

Ordered a 23 platinum last October, didn't get built. My dealership said I would have better luck if I switch to a lariat. They were right! Got a built date for October 30th.
6.7 HO, Tremor, black appearance, lariat ultimate, sun roof, max recline seats, block heater, 5th wheel prep, and rapid supplement heater.

Yeah, same with me. Based off what I kept hearing about people waiting forever for 2023 models I wasn’t expecting. In fact I kinda was hoping it wouldn’t be until spring. But happy it’s early. Might have a new truck for Christmas.

When posting your build emails PLEASE include your Trim and engine !

My order placed 9/6. Priority code 19. F-350 Lariat base Tremor 7.3. Onboard scales, Fifth wheel prep, pro power onboard, tailgate step, front and rear wheel well liners and upfitter switches. Carbonized Gray Metallic with Black interior.

I was counting on it coming by May. I would have had more money to put down. I hope I can pull this off. Scheduled for build on 10/30. I am selling my 2019 F-250 6.7. Had a fuel injector go at 44k and missed our vacation at the end of this summer. Really looking forward to a simple gas engine.

So if Ford does build this truck in the week of 10/30/23, when can I expect to see the truck? This is my 1st time ordering a new Ford truck.
