2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

My truck was built 9/25 and I have a delivery estimated for the week of 10/23 to Dallas. Traveling by rail.

I'd guess most are looking at 3 to 5 weeks transit time. Your window sticker will tell you if your truck is shipping rail or convoy (truck). Your dealer can track where the truck is in transit on the Vehicle Visibility Report.

If going by rail, your dealer and Ford chat/customer service can give you the rail car number to track yourself. You have to call the rail company and use the voice system to get tracking details.
Good points. Fair to say that Ford has decent forecasting on what orders will come in.

Per the "Long McArthur" video of a few days ago, Ford is planning to [produce?] 10% Tremors and also 10% HO diesel (presumably meaning HO production, inclusive of Tremor HO, is planned at "only" 10% of total...)

That just doesn't add up given that Tremor diesels can ONLY be ordered as HO diesels and given the known historical split between Tremor 7.3 orders and Tremor 6.7 orders.

Something is getting lost in the translation....so I don't put a lot of informational value on the "Long McArthur" video.

What is the split between the two engines?

The percentages are similar to previous years. If Ford builds 300K Super Duties a year (picking a round number for simplicity) then they anticipate their supplier will be able to provide 30K 6.7L HO engines. If most people who order the Tremor also want the 6.7L, the engine will be one of the key constraints that will limit their order from being picked-up.

When all is said and done, Ford estimates that about 10% of what they'll build will be Tremors. This number is likely derived from historical average of the number built given all constraints. I don't think they specifically order parts to make 30K Tremors per year since many of these parts are available for non-Tremor orders. There are a few unique items to the Tremor, but I doubt those are limiting (e.g. longer vent tubes, the cheap-ass shocks).

various sources have reported that SD Tremor orders are a high percentage diesel...IIRC, over 50%. Apparently not necessarily something that you can just search on for 2 minutes to find..often buried in the middle of painfully long videos or what have you. I did spend 1 or 2 minutes trying to find a reference for you...but did not find specific reference in that effort. Feel free to report back if you find it.

I ordered my Tremor on July 24th and to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be scheduled for production until next year..... but surprisingly I got my build date today! October 30th is Fords prediction. I got my VIN and all! Stoked!
Did you get a window sticker at that time?

Looks like the online tracker page is down for the moment. Per usual. Lol

It was a joke. But ask me again after a few weeks with a Platinum badge. 😂
I was hoping you were joking cuz I’ve got a platinum on order and was like, “I honestly am just getting it cuz I want something super nice this time around”.

I actually hate the giant badge. I just figured if I'm already throwing 90k into the void I might as well spend the extra money for the better interior. I didn't like the feel of the plastic in the Lariat either.

Check out BFN truck shop... you can get the tailgate appliqué color matched. Ordered one for mine and they'll give you a credit if you send in your original appliqué.

How much credit for your appliqué?

Anyone with a 10/2 build week for 24MY, able to see your window sticker?

Long time Ram owner giving Ford a try. 2024 7.3 XLT Tremor ordered through Chapman 7/19, scheduled for build 10/16. Knock on wood, looking better than the April-May estimate delivery I was originally given.
