Sorry to say but you've been lied to by your "superstar" salesman. KR only comes in brown interior and when you select Tremor is automatically selects the off road running board. Your salesman has to re select it. If he told you Ford is giving you a rebate and he has no choice he's even a bigger liar. I would directly confront him about these glaring provable lies and make them do right by you. The dealer messed up and should make it right. That 1,000 is coming from the dealer not Ford and they absolutely can increase that to cover your powered boards. Be aware though that technically you didn't order powered running boards. The order sheet will say right on it weather it was submitted with powered running boards or not. Just another piece of provable information you can use to get your "superstar" salesman to do the right thing. Feel bad for you that you were treated like that. BTW...Ford has plenty of power steps they never been listed as a constraint for 24my. Even if they were they would hold your order until they came in until they balanced out which wouldn't be until later in the year if at all.
The only thing you can't really change is the trim level (lariat, platinum, kr) or the model (F250 to F350). Everything else can be done before it's assigned a VIN and doesn't change your order number or date. At that point it just becomes a part availability and allocation issue.
My understanding is it's the "underbed gooseneck/5th prep".

Congrats! Did you order the 5th wheel prep? Someone above said there were delays currently associated. Just curious.
Your dealer can still add the fifth prep. Mine was scheduled and my dealer was able to add the fifth prep two weeks after it was scheduled.

I debated it but did not include it in the build, we have a 33' TT and it is great for us. My options were 7.3L , Max recline, Ultimate, BAP , Scales and Moonroof
