2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

I believe the delivery times after being unloaded at the rail-yard to dealer lot are reduced due to the UAW strike. The number of vehicles not produced for 6 weeks allowed the haulers to clear out some of the backlog.

Chat with Ford on the website. Ask for the railcar number. Then call or go online(depending on carrier)
My F250 shipped 12/4. I used the Ford chat and got the railcar number. COER900124 under Norfolk Southern Corp. How do you track it online or call? Do you have to register an account?

Thanks.

Last I heard was once you're given a VIN, major changes are done. I have seen people making small changes but I'd wager you're stuck without getting the 5th wheel prep. You could possibly ask about the carpet delete.
When is your scheduled production date/week as long as your truck has not gone onto the line you should be able to add the 5th wheel prep kit( over capacity by 38% ). and carpet delete talk to you dealer to make those changes. I add a capacity sheet for your review.

Where did the package capacity numbers come from? Are they published somewhere? The Long McArthur live hasn't mentioned any part constraints on super duty last couple of weeks.

Well in a strange turn of events, I contacted ford chat this morning and I was provided a build week of 4 Jan and a different vin. Turns out the vin I was given two weeks ago was for a maverick. Plus side, the vin I was supplied with today works on the tracker, and the new build week is two weeks earlier than original.

Did you get the original VIN from Ford chat as well??

After not getting an email Thursday I reached out to ford today via chat. I have a vin scheduled for week of 1/29/24. Ordered on 12/4. Since I ordered an XLT gas tremor it got scheduled the same week I ordered. Much different experience than ordering a Bronco.

My 250 KR Tremor went into prod 12/06, was built on 12/06, shipped on 12/07. Arrived by rail to Nashville on 12/10, and CSX says it will be in Memphis yard on 12/15. Estimated delivery to central Arkansas 12/26-1/08, but I’m thinking it should arrive well before that.

What priority were you? Still waiting for my XLT gas Tremor ordered 9/15 to be scheduled.

19. My dealer (relatively small) told me he had several allocations for January. I’ve learned the dealer allocation is a lottery.

My priority was 15 (they moved it up even further last week at my request) and said they had allocations. Beginning to wonder if I'm being taken for a ride.

Allocations are a mess. It is truly a lottery. I saw it first hand with my Bronco.

My understanding with priority that dealers can control is only relevant to THEIR orders and will control your place in line with their queue only, not those against other dealers and their orders. Only a Ford rep can move it down and essentially bump it in front of other orders. Many dealers put all of their sold orders in as 19 and stocking orders as 20. Retail/Sold obviously goes before stocking. So moving someone to 15 at Dealer A would not be in front of a 19 at Dealer B. That's my understanding and happy to be corrected.

That’s correct. You can be first line at your dealer but at the back of the big line.
