2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

My understanding with priority that dealers can control is only relevant to THEIR orders and will control your place in line with their queue only, not those against other dealers and their orders. Only a Ford rep can move it down and essentially bump it in front of other orders. Many dealers put all of their sold orders in as 19 and stocking orders as 20. Retail/Sold obviously goes before stocking. So moving someone to 15 at Dealer A would not be in front of a 19 at Dealer B. That's my understanding and happy to be corrected.
And which dealers can place an order/have something scheduled in a given week is truly just a lottery?

I wouldn't say a lottery. More like a draft for pro sports. For each scheduling round, the dealer needs an allocation, then the series(250/350/450), cab/bed, trim level, engine, packages, wheels, accessories, and all have to be without constraints. Basically, the planets have to align for a vehicle to be scheduled, or it goes to the next dealer who has an order that fits without constraints. There are many rounds per scheduling week. Someone explained this better before a while back.

I didn’t mean powerball lottery. More like a weekly scratch off.

Agree with the previous posts and would say it's not really a lottery at all and more like a round robin. Your dealer's allocations are dependent upon their performance and sales. If they tend to sit on inventory, they earn less allocations. But just because they sell a lot of vehicles and get a lot of allocations, doesn't mean you're guaranteed a slot for fulfillment with Ford either due to parts availability and also the dealer may have taken more orders than they can fill.

The weird thing is my dealer has said they only have 3 Super Duty custom orders with the other 2 being Lariat and non-Tremor and none of the orders have been scheduled. If they have allocations it seems like they aren't getting a 'draft pick in that round' to use your example. I have also been told by my dealer rep I have no constraints on my build.

What color is that? Looks great. Are those the factory 35’s on there?

Yes carbonized grey. Goodyear 35’s. Going with fuel wheels and Nitto Ridgegrapplers next week. I hate the way the factory l wheels look. Ugly to me.

Yeah should see mine anyday now also, hopefully can get a picture of it on the transport like you have. Did you opt for the winch?
Nah, tried to keep it as cheap as possible. Probably add one later. 👍

Where did the package capacity numbers come from? Are they published somewhere? The Long McArthur live hasn't mentioned any part constraints on super duty last couple of weeks.
I got it from a Facebook group I'm in not sure where he got it.

My truck is built and shipped with a delivery date of next week! Which is great..........but I never got my window sticker. When you say Ford Chat, what/how is this? Can I get them to send me my window sticker?
