I’d agree with this. Virtually no info from dealer, only bit of info I’ve ever received is from ford chat. Unfortunately no scheduling date as of today.

If it’s not stated on your window sticker as power running boards your truck will come with fixed off-road boards. Man I wish dealers would pay attention to this!

Now I have a question that I sent to both dealerships in both states - AZ and CO…both trucks are scheduled with Off-Road Running Boards – Textured Matte Finish but I actually ordered deployable running boards as a 0$ option…they both tell me that this can be fixed or changed at dealership…is that true or am I just screwed on the one in production?

Have them give it to you in writing. But they can do anything you want. My wife bought an equinox with cloths seats during COVID and had them upgrade to katskin seats. They did it in like a day or two. Then she ended up not liking the equinox so we took it back and traded it for a Blazer RS

I literally sat with the AZ guy while we input the data into the system. Making sure to emphasize when data got transferred to ORDER that the person has to physically repick the deployable running boards. I learned all this from being on this board. AZ also left off the spray in bed liner which I can obviously handle but it just goes to show that people perform less than the minimum of their jobs. Attention to detail is not their forte…smh…

Yes sir. Wrapping the outside chrome of the headlights seem to make a huge difference. I’ve seen plenty of photos of it done. Just have not ran across one in person. I plan on doing it as well.

Black out Headlights? Don’t mean to Hijack the thread, but any pics, links or vendors for the head light black out/wraps ??

Pretty sure they just mean the trim. Not the lights. If you knew that, disregard my post

But, if you do mean the headlights.... Was talking about changing the interior lights on another thread and maybe you could use the colored filter plastic they were talking about

Yeah, my sticker still hasn’t showed up either. Mines being built right now and still not available. It’s available at another site but not on the Ford site.

So my railcar tracking says it has been delivered to IHC (u think that’s what it said?) to Hudson Indiana. I may have the town wrong but it sounds like something like that. The window sticker says it should be delivered up by Minneapolis, MN. The dealer is on the south side of that city so I imagine it would go on truck from that rail yard to the dealer. Why does it say the railcar has been delivered to Indiana?

As for the trackers and the scheduled production dates being delayed, the Kentucky plant is very busy right now. They are pumping out over 1600 trucks a day right now.

Question for those who know - are changes locked out after I've been scheduled or is that after it's been sent to the plant? Thinking about deleting the carpet and maybe adding the 5th wheel prep.

Last I heard was once you're given a VIN, major changes are done. I have seen people making small changes but I'd wager you're stuck without getting the 5th wheel prep. You could possibly ask about the carpet delete.

That's what I thought - no big deal if I'm locked in, but I may give my salesman a call on the carpet just in case. Thanks!
