2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

I placed an order for a 2024 KR F250 Tremor on 10/2/2024. I received an email soon after stating “What’s Next? You will receive an update on your order within 45 days. We’ll let you know…”

I have yet to receive an email on status.

I know it is what it is and it’ll show up when it shows up, so I’m not going to browbeat the dealer.

I’m just curious if others noticed ford does not adhere to that initial “update on your order with 45 days” claim.

Approximately how long before your first official update was received?

Thanks in advance!
I didn’t not get a recent 45 day email so I checked Ford chat. They said it was scheduled for production on January. I haven’t received any scheduling email from Ford. I did confirm with my dealer that the ford chat was correct which they happily confirmed.

In short, do a little digging, you might find some great news.

Late to the 24’ Tremor game but just put in my order at my local dealer. Ordered a F350 Platinum. 7.3, Star White, Carmelo interior, 5th wheel prep package, spray in bedliner, carpet delete, Max Recline seats, cab lights and front/rear wheel well liners. No moonroof or winch (I’ll add a winch later on).

I’ll probably see it in 6-9 months 🤣

Made a few minor order changes today. Gonna go with Carbonized Grey and the standard Black Platinum interior instead of Star White and the Carmelo seats. Also opted to add the Warn winch. Was gonna buy & install it myself afterwards but I work on enough of my own shit as it is 🤣

Well looks like ford is not honoring my cash offer of $2000. Met the criteria of placing an order before the deadline and superduty nor xplan was excluded. Called ford and they said nothing they can do about it. Dealer (Baierl ford in zelionople) said nothing they can do since it is a ford offer.

Baierl also claimed another buyer last week suffered the same fate. Angry.
I had 3200 in rebates that applied at time of order and wend to do the paperwork they were gone expired and I got tough luck from ford about it

Looks like my truck is halfway here! 😃

Your order is almost exactly like mine ordered Aug 31 still have heard nothing about any build date so we wait

Happy Thursday... KTP to Rochester, NY in 7 days, on the lot according to the site. I drove by the dealership at noon yesterday, it wasn't there yet, but now it's showing final prep! Unreal luck, I might actually get this thing today, just in time to take a trip to the Adirondacks tomorrow morning. Wife wants to know who I bl*w to get it this fast 🤣

Have you messaged ford chat? I had the same issue, messaged ford chat, turns out I was scheduled.

Picked up my 2024 F250 7.3 King Ranch Tremor 01 Dec 2023 (ordered it on 05 Aug). Love it. Handles completely different than my 2016 6.7 Powerstroke.
--Issue: It did NOT have the power running boards I ordered. My sales guy, who is a superstar (Ray Johnson, Autonation Ford Margate FL) dug into it and found, "Running boards are not compatible with Java Leather interior." What? In the system build or anywhere else it doesn't mention that.
My intuition says Ford ran out of Powersteps so they slapped on the standard running boards so they could ship the truck out and get thier money.
I am 6'4" tall and it is a BIG step to get into the truck with the standard running boards. Obviously the lovely Mrs. D, at 5'4" tall, is not pleased with my new truck.
Ford gave me a $1000 rebate, but what I really want is for them to replace the running boards when they are available.
Anyone else have this issue?

Received the notification on Monday(12/4) that my truck has arrived at Granger. Was out of town until yesterday, so getting everything lined up and a date set for pick up!

The king ranch doesn’t have an option other than Java leather. Definitely not the reason you didn’t get them.

The reason you didn't get power running boards is because your superstar salesman didn't add them back after adding the tremor pack.

Sadly, this is the answer - When you pick Tremor in the build it removes all other options/packages, they have to be added back after.

Your $1000.00 rebate can be applied to the 1800.00 Amp research power steps.

Good Call. As an aside, I'm not a huge fan of the power steps, they trap snow/salt, and it doesn't get rinsed out going through the car wash and leads to rot. I learned this the hard way with my expedition. Luckily i caught it in time to repair, dealer said they see trades all the time with the rockers rotted right through in 2-3 years because of it. Not to mention the maintenance/stuck boards annoyance.

Does ford send out “scheduled” emails on Thursdays? The email that gives a VIN and scheduled production week.

My sales guy talked about this very thing and I opted not to do the power running boards. I wasn't planning on having them anyway but when we spec'd it out it came with them. Sales guy had an expedition as well and ended up removing them after they failed a third time.

While I agree about cleaning, but our cabs are all aluminum so rot would not be a problem.

Don't rely on the emails from Ford, you will be disappointed. Use Ford Chat or your dealer for any information. If a VIN is available, they will give it to you. With your order number and VIN, you can track progress on shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking
