2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

My truck is so close yet so far. The railcar it is sitting on is just on the other side of the Cascades in Wenatchee, WA. Wish it would get over the mountains so it can wait forever for a transporter to deliver it to my dealer. xD
That stinks and is what I'm worried about. My nephew's GMC has been built for 6 weeks and still no idea when it will ship.

I know the feeling. I have a friend that ordered a 2024 GMC that was built at the end of March and is still in transit.

how do you know where it is at? how can you track it?

But how many of us keep them that long? I managed to get to 175K on my 2008. It's one of a few that i drive. Still a good truck but everything besides the engine does not last twice as long. Already put a new front end in it during covid. Needs more work and I'd rather put $$ towards a new one. Went with 7.3 this time. I'm sure there will be days I wish for the oil burner but hopefully I'm happy the majority of days! If not, I'll order a '24.
Exactly it's not for everyone. Current culture is to get a new one as soon the bulk of the depreciation happened (around 3yrs). All components of a SD are tougher than average and should last. DANA60, transmission, chassis, etc. And the worth of a couple of new truck payments would fix most repairs but I understand the want for a new toy. I think you got a great truck for your needs and the 7.3 does sound great.

I feel confident! My 08 diesel has been a great truck even with that stupid 6.4. Especially after the delete. $5K in the front end and about 1500 to delete. I'd love to keep it for a spare but there's an occasional shut-down when i stomp on it that makes me think the $3500 (or more) fuel rail is next. That's money i don't want to spend. Hoping with the 7.3 I will be happy and not have to worry about the diesel costs. If i used it to pull every day it would be worth it but i don't pull as much as i used to.

(52T) Pro Trailer Backup Assist is part of the tow technology package which itself is part of the Lariat Ultimate package..so is Ford stating Ultimate package has to go in order to get scheduled?

Well that bites if the entire package has to be removed. I may have misunderstood the salesman on the Long McArthur channel I thought he said if that was a separate option I could be wrong.

52T is an option, several ways it can be selected (either as a stand alone, or by default due to its inclusion as part of a package). The question is if the Scheduling Note regarding 52T removal is applicable to the packages (not just if selected as a stand alone option).

I believe he said as a stand alone option to remove it to be able to get scheduled.

Just got my window sticker today. Scheduled for production next week. I am almost allowing myself to be excited.

Ford chat gave me the railcar number. From there, you can call, in my example, CSX at 800-235-2352. Press 1 to get location, then enter the alpha characters for the car number. For example, the letter "T" is the 8 key, followed by the position of the letter on the key. In this case, "T" is the 1st position on the number 8. So for the letter "T" the numbers entered would be "81". Then enter the digits of the railcar number. The voice prompt will ask you if you need to enter another car or say done. It will then give you the last marked location of the car, the date and time of that location. I hope this helps.

Ryan were you able to figure out if your truck is on the move now.

Yap, last update shows the railcar departed Leavenworth, WA around 1815 tonight. With any luck if will be offloaded tonight or tomorrow morning to await truck transport to the dealership. On a side note, I ordered my truck from a dealership in Chehalis since at the time I placed the order, all dealership around us were not accepting x-plan and charging mark-ups.
