2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

I don't think they changed anything. Where do you think your truck is? Where does Ford chat say your truck is? When mine sat at the raceway it didn't move for a while. When it was on the train it was moving but no one was starting it so the truck gave no updates.
Mine is already located in OKC on ramp 28 and will get trucked to Tulsa. Never got update on Ford app about getting put on train or getting off the train.

For what it's worth, here are the updates as I got them.

F250 Lariat Ultimate - Tremor Diesel with every option available.

Order Confirmed: 2/7/23
Scheduled Week Of: 5/4/23
In Production: 5/5/23
Built: 5/6/23
Shipped: 5/6/23
Final Preperation (at dealer): 5/22/23

I currently am in a 2022 F250 Lariat - Tremor Diesel.
The only reason I am considering getting the 2023 is for the 360 Camera Package as my current truck does not have this and also the pro trailer backup assist. Are these two features really worth the upgrade? The rest of the options for the 23 don't really matter to me? Any and all input welcomed.

PTBA is a no, for me at least. But the 360 cameras a definite yes. In 2022 both were linked, had to get one to get the other. I believe in 23 you can separate them.

If I were in your shoes it would all come down to money. I would have to decide if the amount of money I'm spending is worth the benefits/options I would be getting in the 2023. If you're getting a substantial discount on the 2023 and getting out of the 2022 with out losing too much money it might be worth it.....

All I know is come November 1 if my truck is not scheduled to be built Ford Motor Company can KISS MY ASS and I’m buying a GMC off the lot and NEVER BUYING ANOTHER FORD AGAIN IN MY LIFE.…this is absolutely unacceptable to be 7 months into an order and have no build date. And yes I know many other Ford sheep have waited longer, but I’m not one of them.

According to Long McArthur, there will be limited scheduling on KR and Platinum builds. 7.3 is limited as well. If you have max recline, they're saying to take them off your build to increase your chances. Limited trims are exhausted, so they're not scheduling those for this week. Looks like they're scheduling for 6/5-6/19 at the moment. Good luck on this week's lottery!

I have Max recline, spray in liner, fifth wheel and wheel liners…none of that should matter…Ford is proving themselves to be an absolute failure in the management department.
I also ordered the first day the banks opened. October 28

Likewise on ordering date. I left the max recline off my Platinum since I figured it would be a hold up to begin with. And I left off the liners too. Figured I'd install them after the fact.

It is, let's call it disappointing, to see so many Lariat Ultimate builds that have been delivered with the max recline seats. Wish Ford would scan their order banks to see how many KR, Platinum, Limited order included this option and then allocate that portion of their supply to satisfy those orders. It doesn't make sense to me how lower-level trims get to exhaust the supply of upgrade options leaving those with the higher trims out of luck.

Has anybody seen this? Received as a Ford Authority update yesterday.

Having ordered a KR F-250 and not receiving anything but the delay update, considering this a good news.

I don't really know what new information this article provides. We've seen a very limited number of people report they've got Platinum trims scheduled (first June then shifted to late July), so wondering what has changed. Does this mean that they're now able to start producing KR+ trims sooner? The latest dealer bulletin showed that Limited builds were exhausted for May and June (so none else getting scheduled for those weeks) and very limited production for King Ranch and Platinum.

After reading Ford Authority posts for a couple of years now, I find them to never really report much news - mostly reporting things that Ford Marketing is pushing out and they discuss things at such a superficial level that you never really learn much from their writing. Across their platforms (GM Authority, etc..) they never seem to do any investigative journalism or write anything that is critical of the company the site is focused on, aside from reporting on the occasional class action law suit for NTSB finding. I find Ford Authority / GM Authority to be in the category of entertainment rather than news. <rant over>

I asked my dealership if there were any options I should consider dropping to get scheduled faster and this was the response I got. No idea what any of it means, maybe it’ll make sense to someone here?

The way to interpret the percentages is that each are how many of the total production run Ford expects to build with each option. For example, if Ford produces 200K Super Duties, then they'll do 20K with the Tremor package (10%).

What we don't know is how Ford balances across all of these items. The more of these items that are on your build, the less chances there are that it will be scheduled for production. For example, many people who have ordered Tremors have opted for the HO 6.7L (10% of all builds) and the moon roof (20% of all builds), so you're competing with the other non-Tremor orders for these options which may result in your order not getting scheduled.

To calculate the odds of you getting scheduled, you'd have to build a formula that factors in all of the constraining items (including trim levels which are not listed in your screen shot) against the total production run and number of orders received. Since some of this is not public knowledge, there really is no way to know but one can intuitively assume that the more items on the list you have the less likely your order will be scheduled.

It's actually happening next week! Until the window sticker became available I didn't believe the email saying Week of May 29th. Taking delivery just outside of Nashville so it should arrive relatively quickly via convoy from KTP (Louisville, KY). 🤞
