2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

I thought the LEDs were reserved for the KR and up trims?

I think there was always a package option for Lariats and King Ranch to add LED headlights, since neither trim comes with them innately. Only Platinum and Limited get that baseline. For 2022 it looks like the Lariat can only get the LEDs with the blackout package, which is only available in crew cab config for both Lariat and XLT. Note that it doesn't specify LED fogs on the blackout package, but the photo shows it coming with it (assuming it does).

Black Appearance Package
$4,295

Includes:
• 6” Ebony Black Angular – Running Boards
• 20” Ebony Black Painted Premium Aluminum Wheels
• LT275/65R 20E OWL A/T
• Black Ford Oval Logos, Front and Rear
• Body-color front and rear bumper
• Ebony Black Fender Vent Surround (LARIAT only)
• Ebony Black Painted front Grille Bars
• Ebony Black Painted Mirror Caps (LARIAT only)
• Headlamps – Black out surrounds, LED only (LARIAT only)
• Tough Bed® (LARIAT only;spray-in bedliner; includes tailgate-Guard, black box bed tie-down hooks and black bed attachment bolts)

In 2022 you could get a Lariat with LEDs without the blackout package. They just wouldn’t be blacked out LEDs

To get LEDs without the Blackout Package also required the Lariat Ultimate Package. Black Appear Package allowed LEDs on a non-Ultimate Lariat.

So all of a sudden my window sticker isn’t available on fords site. It’s been available for the last month till now…what y’all think that means?

Chatted with ford today and they said they were addressing the issues with the US ford site today and tomorrow and how everyone is having to use the Canadian site…maybe that has something to do with it🤷🏻‍♂️

For the 2023's, Lariat and KR come standard with LED reflector headlights. Platinum and Limited get LED projectors, and as best as I could tell you cant even add the projectors as options on the Lariat or KR.

XL and XLT are the only trims that come with halogens now (with the LED reflectors as optional with the XLT Premium and Sport Package)

That is insane to have non LED projectors on a $90k Lariat Ultimate truck.

Just watched 2023 Superduty - Job 2 Availability and Timing video that came out about 5 days ago. Did I hear correctly that the following options/features will not be available until launch Job 2 (April timeframe) regardless of trim level?
  • BAP (Black Appearance Package)
  • Onboard Scales and Smart Hitch
  • Pro-trailer Hitch Assist
  • 3.55 Electronic Locking Rear Differential (Available on the Tremor as Job 1)
If this is accurate, is it safe to assume that XLT Tremors produced in Job 1 with any of those options listed above will be sitting well into Job 2? Video also states that dealers should have identified this issue at the time of order and put a priority code of 99 on your build, so the build wouldn't be started until Job 2 and not have to sit for 3+ months at the Kentucky Speedway.

XLT , Lariat Tremors produced prior to Job 2 just wont get those options (if you wanted the truck to have those options they should not have been set for priority code 10-19 prior to Job 2).

And if the dealer did set a priority code of 10 through 19, does that mean those customers are just SOL, or simply delayed into Job 2?

No one knows. But I believe Granger said that it would be a possibility they would send the truck through without the option then. But on Facebook, some dealers are saying that it wouldn't be scheduled if it was standard equipment but it could be scheduled if it was a selected Job 2 option but it would be built w/o the option and the buyer would be screwed, if they didn't put it at 99. So who actually is right? 🤷

After waiting 18 months for my 22’ there’s no way I’d play this game of wack f*ck again… Unless I HAD to have a new truck for work/business purposes.
