2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

I can’t see how removing wheel liners and splash guards would help speed your build. Those items would go to the manufacturer to fill builds before they would be allocated to the dealerships to sell as parts.
You may be right but I figure on getting Husky liners anyway.

IDK about this year, but it was a big deal last year. Anything that required off-site work could keep you from getting scheduled (or delay it for a long time). Best to play it safe and add them yourself or have your dealer add them after the truck is delivered.

Hmm. Mine was built with no holds two weeks ago and sent off-site (according to the vvr). I sure hope that they start shipping. It's been quiet on the oktb front.
This is the exact same thing I got when I contacted the dealer. Completed, no hold, shipped offsite

It's crazy to see how the price jumped so much from 2022 to 2023. I know we had some inflation and there was a midyear price increase on 2022 of about $5k but the same truck is now $10,000 more in total year over year from what it was at the start of 2022 (I say the same loosely, which excl. of course the 2023 updates).

Well we got a new week…what all info you guy’s hearing on your orders? Any new info going around? Mine is the same “in production” as of February 10th.

I'm still hearing crickets. Granted I ordered a Platinum. I never even got the confirmation email. Lol
OKTB has so many different dates attached to it so who the hell knows what's going on.

Agreed…we’re like mushrooms…keep us in the dark and feed us full of shit🤣

Latest confirmed plant leaked info on FB is that KTP is shut down since Friday of last week. No concrete details provided as to why.

If you look at the details, it’s not really that much. When I priced out my ‘23 platinum before they decided to build my ‘22 two months ago, I almost had a heart attack. Then I looked at what’s included now compared to what was optional before. Granted an increase still sucks, but it’s not as much as you think.

7.3 included now $2k add on before, pro power included, upfitters included, heads up display, on board scale, dual batteries, more tech, and a few other things.

You are right for the most part, I think. Overall it looks largely to be the price hike/s over the past year and less to do with the 2023 model itself.

My 2022 7.3 fully loaded KR with ultimate package (which for 2023 looks to be part of the base KR package), tremor, adaptive steering (looks included 2023), moonroof, roof markers, gooseneck+kit, tri fold tonneau, spray in with was $76.9 MSRP in 2022. I can still build 2022 on Ford's site even though I think they stopped taking 2022 orders a while back. The same 2022 build is currently price hiked to $84.5 (I actually think it had 2 price hikes, because I'm almost certain it was originally $82.5k after the first increase around Apr or May 2022). The 2023 version with the same or included options (and ofc all additional incl features) is only $86.8k by contrast, which is a steal for what's included... but I also think they may have inflated the outgoing model's price to compensate.

As far as '23 pricing goes, it actually helped me out. I was pricing '22 ultimate lariats, but the '23 lariat includes all the stuff I was buying in the ultimate package (LED lights, push button start, memory & vented seats). The '23 ultimate package is mostly all electronic driver aid stuff, I want none of that. But for the folks buying a higher trim (ultimate Lariat, KR, Plat) I'm sure they went way up.

I thought the LEDs were reserved for the KR and up trims?

It’s hard to believe no one has any real information on why the 23‘s are being held up.

From the '23 order guide Lariat gets LED reflectors and KR and up get LED projectors. So not quite the same, but at least they won't be yellow ass halogens.

I snagged this off the web, I'm assuming this is the look of the reflector LED's:
